I was asked by Logan Elementary School to spend some time reading to the children on Read Across America day, which was March 2nd. This was Dr. Seuss Day! In the photo above, is Mrs. White's first grade class. I read the classic Green Eggs & Ham. Which was my favorite and first book I read as a child.
It's vitally important to get children into reading at a young age. It sparks the imagination and helps us grow intellectually. The fine teachers here at Logan Elementary are igniting that spark!
A special thanks to everyone at Logan Elementary for inviting me! I hope to attend again next year. If you'd like me to visit your class room for a weather talk, e-mail me at josh.fitzpatrick@wsaz.com
