Green Elementary School Visit

Meteorologist Josh Fitzpatrick visited Green Elementary recently, reading to the kids and talking to the sixth graders who put on thier own news broadcasts.

On Monday I visited Green Elementary School in Scioto County, Ohio.  I read to the Kindergarten, First and Second graders.  I read one of their favorite books, "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs."  After visiting those great groups of kids, I went over to the Sixth grade where they produce their own weekly news, weather and entertainment broadcasts.

Here are some photos from my visit.

Below is the Kindergarten class.

This is the first grade class.

This is the second grade class.

For some reason they wanted my autograph.  Ha-Ha!

Below is the sixth grade group.  This class puts together a web broadcast of school news, weather and entertainment.

Their call letters are WGBC.  They even interviewed me for a future webcast.

Keep up the great work at Bobcat country!  A special thank you to Mary Howard and the rest of the teachers for inviting me.
