PolitiFact Ohio has a closer look at some of the claims about Senate Bill 5 in the lead up to November's crucial vote on the issue.

In the final weeks before the November election, groups are putting out dueling ads about the effects of Senate Bill 5, the controversial measure that impacts collective bargaining rights in Ohio.

Voters will head to the polls Nov. 8 to vote on Issue 2, which will determine if the law survives.

Politifact Ohio recently published this report that analyzes recent claims about impacts on nursing staff levels and funding for public employees' benefits.

The group also looks at one of Republican U.S. House Speaker John Boehner's claims about the Obama administrations stimulus promises.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway and his Republican challenger Todd P'Pool sparred in a televised debate over the incumbent's refusal to get involved in challenging President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

P'Pool said Conway has been absent from the most historic legal fight of this era by refusing to join in challenging the health care law. P'Pool has said he would promptly enlist Kentucky in the legal challenge if he's elected.

Conway, a Democrat, said he chose not to use his office's resources to get involved in a court case that will get decided regardless whether Kentucky joins the fight.

The candidates met in an hourlong debate on Kentucky Educational Television in Lexington.

Conway is seeking a second term as Kentucky's chief law enforcement officer. P'Pool is the Hopkins County attorney.
