Kentucky Senate President and gubernatorial candidated David Williams (R) is struggling to gain any traction in his race to unseat Democrat Steve Beshear.
The latest fund raising numbers show him pulling in about 10 percent of the cash Beshear did between Oct. 8 and 24.
Recent polls indicate Williams trails Beshear by about 30 points in the polls. Things are even worse for independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith.
The Kentucky Democratic Party has filed a complaint against Williams, alleging he's coordinating with an outside group that's paying for TV ads.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - The Kentucky Democratic Party has filed a complaint with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance charging that Republican gubernatorial candidate David Williams has coordinated and cooperated with an outside political group that's paying for TV ads.
Democratic Chairman Dan Logsdon said Williams' father-in-law, Russell Springs businessman Terry Stephens, has been the only contributor to the Republican group Restoring America that is airing ads supporting Williams and attacking Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear.
Logsdon said that suggests coordination, leading him to ask for an immediate investigation.
Williams and independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith are running against Beshear in the Nov. 8 general election. Polls show Williams is the leading challenger among the two.
Williams campaign chairman Donald Storm said Logsdon's "unfounded and untrue" allegation shows the race is tightening.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Republican gubernatorial candidate David Williams is still lagging far behind Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear in fundraising.
A report filed Friday with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance shows Williams banked $57,621 between Oct. 8 and Oct. 24 and just more than $1 million since the May primary election. Beshear had taken in $517,000 for the same period and more than $6 million since May.
An independent candidate, Lexington attorney Gatewood Galbraith, also is in the race, but is having even more difficulty than Williams in raising campaign cash.
Galbraith filed a report showing he raised just more than $3,500 during the October reporting period.
Beshear's huge lead in the polls has bolstered his fundraising. The most recent polls show him leading Williams by 30 percentage points and Galbraith by 50.
