Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin (D) and Bill Maloney (R) will face off live on television tonight in the second debate of West Virginia's gubernatorial campaign.
The debate is sponsored and organized by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association.
During the first debate, which was not televised and held in the northern panhandle, local reports show the candidates made headlines for comments on pre-employment drug testing of teachers when Maloney endorsed it, and Tomblin said he wasn't entirely opposed to it. The candidates' campaigns later backed off those statements.
Our coverage plan tonight:
At 6 p.m., I'll be live with the debate's moderator, Hoppy Kercheval, for a preview of what we can expect tonight.
