Cooler days are here again!

Well...not totally cooler, but mid 80s is good enough for me.

Happy Monday everyone!

This will be a shorter blog post today, after some pretty lengthy ones (time to give all our eyes and brains a rest). Our heat wave was 11-days long, and featured 6 days of 100-degree heat. Crazy.

Now we're going to be settling back into the mid 80s, with the biggest threat for showers and storms starting up this afternoon primarily along and south of an I-64 line. The threat for severe weather is low-to-nonexistent, so whatever we get will be beneficial for those crops and gardens out there.

This boundary will stay just to our south in the coming days, but little impulses of storm energy will be riding along this front igniting more showers and storms. We'll be catching pieces of them here and there. As of right now the best day of the week is Wednesday, though because we're in the 80s I think all of the days this week are better than last week. :-)
