After such a long week... Welcome to Friday!
The Easter weekend looms large, but so does the sunshine. High pressure brings just enough influence to keep that Sun shining. Just those morning hours will feature a chilly reminder of our below-normal temperatures, but by midday the comparable warming makes you forget that we're still not quite to where we should be for this time of year.

We should be around 60 in late March, but don't worry about "just" being in the 50s today-- it will feel nice. Saturday keeps the hits coming, with our warmest day in more than a week (and perhaps the week to come too).
Easter Sunday? That's a different story...

The models are now settling in on an earlier arrival of the showers Sunday, which could complicate those sunrise services and outdoor Easter egg hunts. Please plan accordingly: the ground is muddy enough as it is.
As you see on the 7-Day forecast below, we are actually going to drift back into the unseasonably cold weather following this one too. It's kind of depressing, but all the more reason to seize the day-- both today and tomorrow.
