Multi-Day Active Blog Post
I will be taking some time off with the family (it's that time of year) ... But I will keep this blog post updated as frequently as I can with forecast and perspective. Check back often until I resume normal operations.
Wednesday update - So much for the momentary "cold" weather... Another heat wave is upon us, and sunshine is going to be locked in for a little while. Watch out for "Red Flag Warnings" underscoring a growing fire danger (campers beware). Highs will get into the 90s for a while again. It looks like the summer forecast we talked about a while back is coming along nicely...
Sunday update - A cold front is approaching, but is weakening as it gets here. Nevertheless, still expect a few showers here and there. The more important thing is the colder weather to follow. Highs Tuesday may not even make it to 80... Feels pretty nice if you ask me :-)

Hello everyone!
As the sub-heading says, I've got some time off that I'm taking (use-it-or-lose-it) and it's that time of the season...
But, I'm going to keep this blog post active across multiple days, so no worries on it going idle. If you don't see as much frequency or depth/breadth in the posts, please understand :-)
This weekend's weather looks pretty good in my opinion. Post-frontal high pressure is always good for some lower humidity, and we're already feeling the effects of it by not waking up to temperatures in the 70s. The afternoons over the next two days will still be warmer than normal, "but it's that dry heat" ;-) All outdoor plans are a "go"!
Updates to this post will be done differently-- they will be put ontop of the previous content. However, as usual, the auto-updating tracking maps will be at the bottom.
As usual, any/all weather watches and warnings will still be distributed as they happen on the maps below, and via my Twitter Page.
