Winters Blast Won't Last

Cold conditions stick around for tomorrow, but a warm up is heading our way.

An arctic cold evening is in store for us tonight, with lows dipping down between 15-20°. Some passing flurries will be possible through the morning, especially in our eastern extents where there is a better possibility of upslope snow being produced. Tomorrow will remain cold, but the rest of the work week brings a more Spring-like feel to the air...

A strong southwest flow pulls warmer air into our region, with highs reaching into the lower 60's. Unfortunately, with this southern pull of air, we are also seeing a southern pull of moisture...

The showers are expected to start late on Thursday night and continue through Saturday. Looking at the outlook for Friday above, you can see yellow shadings which indicate the chance of convective showers or thunderstorms! That means we will see both snow and thunderstorms in one week- talk about crazy weather!

Have a great night folks!
