HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Chelsea is a pre-teen who loves school and sports. The 12-year-old also loves Jesus, and she's not afraid to tell the world.

This is a sweet little girl who simply wants love and security from a family to call her own. WSAZ.com's Carrie Cline introduces you to Chelsea, the little girl with the big smile.

Here is a discussion between Carrie and Chelsea:

Carrie: Tell me about church. That's a big part of your life, too.
Chelsea:I've been saved and baptized.

Carrie: What does that mean to you?
Chelsea: That means that I'm a Christian.

Carrie: Is that important to you?
Chelsea: Yeah

Carrie: What kinds of things do you do at church?
Chelsea: Go to Bible school and stuff like that.

Carrie: Tell me about school.
Chelsea: I got two B's and a whole bunch of A's on my report card. I like to have really good grades.

Carrie: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Chelsea: A singer.

Carrie: You know what I do when people tell me they want to be a singer. I make them sing.
Chelsea: I don't want to.

Carrie: OK, I won't embarrass you.

Carrie: What makes Chelsea fun?
Chelsea: I like playing soccer a lot and I especially want to be a cheerleader one day.

Carrie: So, maybe one half you can cheer, and one half you can play
Chelsea: And I like to swim a lot, too.

Carrie: Why is it important for you to be adopted?
Chelsea: Because a lot of people will be out there, and I'll be safe.

Carrie: What would the perfect family be for you?
Chelsea: A family that goes to church and lives in the country. I love animals.

Carrie: Cows? Horses? Pigs? Fish? You like them all, don’t you?
Chelsea: Yes.

The trip to Camden Park was Chelsea's first trip to an amusement park and her first ride on a roller coaster. She rode the Big Dipper about five times in a row at Camden Park.
