HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Feelings of lonliness, rejection and sadness. They're realities of life for all of us.

But, for some teens who don't have a family, the feelings are far more common. Today, Brittany has worked hard to overcome those emotions replacing them with hope. She's hoping you'll make the call to bring her home for good.

Carrie: What do you like to do for fun?
Brittany: I sing all the time at Karaoke night and it's kind of funny because me and my friends always go and sing and dance.

Carrie: What else do you like to do for fun?
Brittany: I like to draw and color

Carrie : What kinds of things do you like to draw?
Brittany: I do pastel drawings. Sometimes I draw people because I like to draw their facial expressions and see how angry they get.

Carrie: What's your favorite subject in school?
Brittany: My favorite subject in school would be spelling.

Carrie: What would you like to be when you grow up?
Brittany: I'd like to be a teacher.

Carrie: And teach what grade?
Brittany: I want to teach third grade because I like kids a lot.

Carrie: I understand you also like the "Twilight" movies?
Brittany: Yeah, I like Team Jacob.

Carrie: What would you say to people out there about why they should want to make you a part of their family?
Brittany: That I'm a very loving and caring person. I care about little kids. I care about people who understand the reason why you shouldn't get in trouble and go to (juvenile court) because your parents do love you, but when I was 10, I lost my parents and that was not a good thing for me.
