WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- She's a teenager who's interested in a little bit of every thing.

Liz is not one to let any dust gather around her feet. Music, sports, animals -- you name it and she's interested in it. But she's most interested in finding a family who wants her and she lays out a pretty convincing case in this week's "Carrie's Kids."

Here is a discussion between WSAZ.com's Carrie Cline and Liz:

Carrie: You like playing instruments, but not just one or two. Tell me about your love for music.
Liz: I love music because I like to play

Carrie: What instruments do you play?
Liz: I play clarinet and guitar. I did play trumpet

Carrie: And you play a little piano? I read you'd like play every instrument in the band?
Liz: Yes! I'd like to play every instrument because I think it's fun.

Carrie: Are you in the band now?
Liz: Yes, I play the clarinet.

Carrie: How is school going? What's your favorite subject?
Liz: It's going well. I like math.

Carrie: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Liz: Be an artist or a math teacher. I like to draw. I draw people and animals.

Carrie: Tell me why you want to be adopted.
Liz: I don't think my real mom wanted me because she picked a man over me.

Carrie: What kind of family would you like to have?
Liz: One that likes having fun, going out to eat and just enjoying yourself and not mean.

Liz: I've been in four foster homes since 2006.
Carrie: You're 13. How hard is that?
Liz: Very hard.

Carrie: What makes Liz special?
Liz: Liz is awesome!

Liz says she looks forward to being considered one of the lucky ones because she has a family. If you'd like to make that wish come true, just call 1-800-232-KIDS. That's 1-800-232-5437.
