ORIGINAL STORY: Tuesday
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Kanawha County Commission employee has been suspended with pay pending an investigation of alleged misconduct.
County Manager Brent Pauley tells WSAZ.com the employee's suspension started Tuesday morning.
Pauley says when allegations surfaced about this person, the commission asked the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department to investigate.
Commissioner Dave Hardy tells WSAZ.com that this situation is being taken very seriously.
"It's a concern to me if it would be any county employee," said Hardy.
Acting on advice from the county's legal department, neither Pauley nor Hardy would identify the employee.

check out the Charleston Gazette, they have a more thorough story - apparently there is money missing. people should know by now anything to do with the commission is treated differently than if they themselves were trying to expose other people for wrong doings. no one there ever seems to get in trouble and not come out of it as if nothing happened. guess that is why they get away with everything that others would be jailed for.
Pablo, give it a break. Im sure there are legal matters surrounding what WSAZ can discuss during a pending investigation and can only provide us with the information given to them.
I agree with Pablo. Why even bother reporting this if you're not going to give the whole story? This is too vague to even be a news story; you might as well have not reported it.
