Kanawha Valley Pastor Indicted on Sex Abuse Charges
A pastor from Kanawha County accused of sexual abuse has been indicted on those charges.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A pastor from Kanawha County accused of sexual abuse has been indicted on those charges.
Sandy Cook was charged last September with sexually abusing several young teenage boys at his home and in his truck back in 1994.
On Friday, the Grand Jury indicted Cook on several charges including sexual abuse by a parent, guardian and custodian, and third degree sexual assault.
Cook was the senior pastor at Shrewsbury Church of God in eastern Kanawha County.

These men were not children, they knew right from wrong, that had a choice to be around him, some children don't have that because their own parents abuse them

In Gods Word even the very elect will fall...when this type of thing happens it should make christians pray even harder!! As for why the people that were offended..wait or dont say anything...if you have never experienced something so horrible please do not be so quick to judge...as a child you feel you did something wrong...when you DID NOT!! Maybe you dont understand until you become an adult or feel no one would believe you. It is something you dont just walk around discussing...!!The offended should NEVER BE BLAMED REGARDLESS!!! I am not saying this pastor did or did not do this..As far as "SIN", lies...it does find you out. God will not let it go unpunished regardless of who you are!!It is a very SAD SITUATION and it is terrible that if he did do these things..how he stood behind a pulpit and IGNORED Gods Holy Spirit!!! That in itself is a very dangerous thing to be doing!! People should pray!!!!I know I am....

I knew this man and no not if he has done these acts. I am not God and have not the powers to know if he is guilty! I pray to God that the truth be known. He was a very good man...the one I knew! His family was awesome, loving, and God fearing people. If he is guilty I pray that he seeks forgiveness from God and if he is not I pray that they accuser seeks forgiveness as well. It breaks my heart to wonder and makes me feel guilty to question. Thats why God did not make me the judge of any man!
