CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It's a long way from the North Pole, but Santa Claus will make his grand entrance this Friday at the Charleston Town Center Mall.

Jolly Ole St. Nick will join a parade of elves at his Frosty Forest cabin at 5:45pm in Center Court for Charleston's first snowfall of the season.

"Bark Buddie" and the world's biggest "Celebri-Tree" will also be there to meet and greet the kids.

Kids of all ages are invited to come in costume as forest elves.

The West Virginia Division of Forestry plans to hand out free magical tree seedlings while supplies last.

According to a press release, you can also "experience the magic of West Virginia forests this holiday season with forestry exhibits each Saturday sponsored by WV Forestry Association, West Division of Forestry, Project Learning Tree and SFI."
