CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Walker Machinery Co. has laid off 45 workers and its president says more cuts are possible.

The Belle-based company sells and refurbishes heavy equipment used by the mining, timber and construction industries. President Steve Walker told the Charleston Gazette that all three sectors are down due to the recession.

Walker says the layoffs included full-time shop and parts department employees, summer contract laborers and interns.

How dare the heavy machinery industry try to turn a profit. That is what's wrong with the United States today. "The white man's greed runs a world in need." Walker Machinery needs a Federal bailout. Obama needs to sieze control, Fire the CEO and install someone who doesn't even know how to spell Caterpillar. Nationalize the heavy machinery industry now, you capitalist pigs! Everyone deserves a free forklift!
