SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A single vehicle accident closed Interstate 77 north in Kanawha County for a short period Thursday.
It happened just after 12:30 p.m. near the 115 mile marker in Sissonville, which is just north of the Pocatalicio exit.
Emergency crews tell WSAZ.com the driver lost control of her car and hit the guardrail. The driver was not hurt, but another woman and child were taken to the hospital.
Their injuries do not appear life threatening.
The people involved in the accident were from Tennessee.
The north bound lanes were shut down for about an hour, but they have since re-opened.
