"Twilight" Star Draws Hundreds to Town Center Mall
Known as Dr. Carlisle Cullen on the big screen, Peter Facinelli was greeted by hundreds of Twilight fans.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Hundreds of die hard "Twilight" fans headed to the Town Center Mall as early as 4:00 a.m. Saturday for a chance to meet Peter Facinelli.
He portrays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the movie "Twilight".
Facinelli signed autographs and even posed for pictures with his fans.
They shelled out up to $40 dollars for a chance to get close to the star.
A portion of the proceeds will go to “City of Joy”, a charity Peter is supporting by joining forces with the company OmniPeace. “City of Joy" is a healing and learning center for women and girls who have been victims of violence in the Congo.
This is first time a "Twilight" character has made a stop in West Virginia, and Facinelli says he's humbled by the turn out.
He's a huge fan of the books and says it's an honor to be part of something that's turned into a pop culture phenomenon.
