Senator Byrd to Receive Honor
West Virginia Robert C. Byrd will be honored on Friday at the West Virginia Culture Center in Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia Robert C. Byrd will be honored on Friday at the West Virginia Culture Center in Charleston.
Byrd will receive the first Teaching American History Program Award.
According to a news release, Senator Byrd will be honored for his efforts to advance civic literacy and American history knowledge.
The award ceremony is set for 7: 00 p.m. Friday.

I think they should give him a giant gold pig trophy for being the king of pork.

I think that Senator Byrd is a great man and he has done so much for so many in the state of West Virginia. He has been so good over the years to help the poor people in our great state. I have personally ask him for help and he came through 100 percent. I wish we had more like him and more like him to come in the future. He is really a people person. You are a great person Senator Byrd, I tip my hat to you Sir in your honor. God Bless you and your family.
