CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A place where many go to remember fallen soldiers now represents all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
The restored Veterans Memorial reopened at the West Virginia State Capitol on Tuesday morning, just in time for Veterans Day.
Military personnel from all walks of life attended a special ceremony to dedicate the memorial.
Several names on the old memorial were misspelled and hundreds of names were left off the wall. Then, almost two years ago, a driver crashed into the memorial, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
The work on the memorial wrapped up last month.
The memorial honors the fallen from World Wars I and II, Korea and Vietnam.
It was originally dedicated on Veterans Day in 1995.

How can you get a list of names, that is on the memorial ?
Dear WSAZ, Since you are unwilling to print my rant could you please correct your story as it is factually incorrect. 629 new names were added not thousands.
