CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration is planning to unveil its plan to reduce cases of black lung disease at a series of public events.
MSHA says it's scheduled sessions starting Dec. 3 at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy in Beaver. Wednesday's announcement includes additional sessions in Pennsylvania on Dec. 7, Virginia on Dec. 10 and Kentucky on Dec. 11.
New MSHA director Joe Main has made combating the debilitating disease a priority. While deadly, black lung is considered preventable by reducing dust levels in coal mines.
Black lung cases decreased for three decades in the U.S. But federal researchers have evidence the disease may be making a comeback in parts of West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

to whatever: well i hate to burst your bubble my friend but yes it does exist. I watched my grandfather suffer for several years from not being able to breath because he worked in a WV coal mine for 30 years, so you might want to research your opinion a little better cause it does exist. If you don't believe me check out this picture http://health-pictures.com/images1/black_lung.bmp.
Yeah!! Black lung is a sham made up by miners who have died for the last hundred years from it. While we're at it, I ain't no scientific researcher on the subject, but I'm 100% sure that global warming don't exist neither, because that's what somebody told me. Rabble, Rabble, Rabble!!!
What else do you expect, A tree-hugger Prez. leading a tree-hugging congress and a tree-hugging agency(MSHA) to eliminate coal mining. Every DEMOCRAT should be impeached if not executed. They're all brain dead anyway.
