CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Yeager Airport is expecting a 10 percent annual increase in boardings from a high-adventure camp that the Boy Scouts of America plans to open in Fayette County.
Yeager Director Rick Atkinson says the Charleston airport's passenger boardings are expected to increase by about 20,000 a year. That number should double in years when the National Jamboree is held at the camp on the rim of the New River Gorge.
Construction on the new camp is to begin next spring and finish in time to host the 2013 jamboree.

It's great that the Boy Scouts will have a wonderful new place for their adventures. I'm glad for the airport, but even happier for the Boy Scouts
