Driver Hurt in Downtown Charleston Accident
A person was hurt Wednesday afternoon after a two car crash in downtown Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A driver was taken to the hospital after he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a car in downtown Charleston.
The accident happened at the intersection of Brooks and Washington Streets just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Witnesses tell WSAZ.com that the driver of the car that allegedly ran the red light was taken to the hospital. We don't know the person's name or condition.
The intersection was closed for a short time while emergency crews cleaned up the mess, but has reopened.
