Hometown Hero: Brandi Reese

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Brandi Reese didn't waste any time to help after a family's home was hit by flooding.

She helped put a roof over the family's head and provided them with clothing and toys. The flooding hit Adam Milam and his family just weeks before Christmas.

Reese used her shop Just 4 Kids to help Adam and his family get back on their feet.

Our camera was rolling as people brought in bag after bag -- with everything from clothes and toys to money for food. The whole thing was organized by Reese, who says nobody deserves a helping hand more than the Milams.

"If there's a sporting event, they're always the first to volunteer," Reese said of the family. "They gave a lot to the community, so we're just trying to help them."

Meanwhile, for her selfless generosity, Reese is our latest Hometown Hero.
