Hometown Hero: Kim Seeley

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Kim Seeley hasn't lived in West Virginia since she was 13 years old.

But not a day goes by that she is not thinking about or helping people and creatures in the state she loves.

Seeley created Lost & Found Dogs West Virginia Facebook page.

She manages the page, shares pictures of dogs -- even browses countless websites to help strangers bring their furry family members home.

She's helped reunite dozens of families. Seeley says she "saw a need" and wanted to fill the void.

That is why she is the WSAZ Hometown Hero for Aug. 9, 2013.
