WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A young girl from Greenbrier County is among the flood victims still missing nearly a week after severe storms devastated parts of West Virginia.

Crews are still searching for several people after the massive flooding disaster that swept across the state last Thursday and Friday.

Officials say the death toll is at 23, but only 20 people are confirmed dead. Three are only presumed to be dead, officials say.

Family members tell WSAZ Mykala Phillips, 14, of White Sulphur Springs, has not been seen since the storms hit.

Donna Glass, Phillips' grandmother, says the family is asking for prayers and support.

"We are taking it hour by hour," Glass said. "That is all we can do. It's hard to stay sane."
