CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- If you're looking to buy energy saving products for your home, this is the best time to buy them in West Virginia.

The Energy Star sales tax holiday runs now through September 7th. All products that cost $2500 or less with the Energy Star label are tax exempt.

The items include anything from battery chargers and fluorescent lights to heat pumps and refrigerators.

I agree w/ whatever...Who has any money right now to spend on an appliance? Should have done this around the time the stimulus checks came out...

Products up to $2500 are eligible. So you save up to $150. At $500 you save $30. At $1000 you save $60.
