Putnam Business Looks to Expand, Add Jobs

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A company in Putnam County is looking to expand and bring new jobs to the area, but it won't happen unless it gets some help from the county.
The company's name is not being released at this time, but here's what we can tell you.
Putnam County Commissioners voted Tuesday to apply for a $400,000 grant to help pay for road repairs near the company's site.
County leaders say the repairs could cost about $250,000. If the road is repaired the company says it will build a new building and create new jobs.
The rest of the grant money would be used to build an access road from the new Route 35 to the Putnam Business Park in Frazier's Bottom. Right now, the park is only accessible from the old section of the road.
The county is expected to release more information about this project in a few weeks.

This article is inaccurate---I was just on "Johnstown Road" the other day--it comes from the new Rt 35 over to the business park...hmmm maybe they are LYING POLITICANS!! Im sure its toyota
