CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Doctors at ABC Pediatrics in Charleston back up what the director of the Charleston-Kanawha County Health Department said this week.
Dr. Rahul Gupta said we're not seeing as many cases of swine flu. The virus is still going around, so health care workers still recommend preventive measures and getting the vaccine when it's available to you.
ABC Pediatrics is also seeing a lot of strep throat and some ear infections.
In Ashland, Ky., doctors at Tri-State Pediatrics are seeing patients with allergies, ear aches, tonsillitis, and wheezing.
Doctors at Summersville Pediatrics are seeing cases of swine flu, some strep cases, and several viral upper respiratory infections.
In Jackson, Ohio, the staff at Jackson Area Family Practice and Pediatrics is seeing a lot of influenza and sinus infections.
Doctors at Roane General Hospital Medical Clinic in Spencer are seeing some patients with vomiting and diarrhea associated with swine flu, but there isn't a lot of that being seen. They've also had some patients with strep throat.
