CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is set to begin the second round of Swine Flu clinics in local schools this week.
Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, tells WSAZ.com the clinics will start on Thursday, December 3.
The first clinic will be held at Elk Elementary School and the health department will move around to the schools in the same pattern as the first round of clinics, unless something happens to alter that plan.
"The hope and plan really is that if not all, but a very major portion of those schools will be completed by Christmas time," Dr. Rahul Gupta said.
If your child didn't get the first vaccination, you most likely won't receive a consent form this time around. However, there are still ways you can make sure your child gets vaccinated.
"You can always go to the health department's Web site and download the form and send it into your child's teacher," Gupta said. "We should be able to have that request taken care of there."
Gupta said the first round of school clinics will wrap up on Tuesday.
