WAYNE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A steady increase in the supply of the H1N1 vaccine has allowed many county health departments to open up swine flu clinics to the general public.
People began getting their shots around 8 a.m. Monday at the Wayne County Health Department along Railroad Avenue. Health officials say even though the number of new swine flu cases has peaked for now, there's still a lot of flu season left. They say that's reason enough to get vaccinated.
The Wayne County Health Department has more clinics scheduled this week -- from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday. For flu clinics in your area, you can contact your local health department.
