Healthy Tri-State 5K Run
The first annual Healthy Tri-Sate's 5k Run/Walk will be held May 22, 2010.

The First Annual Healthy Tri-State 5K Run & Walk will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at 8:30am in Barboursville Park. You will need to check in at Shelter #9 by the lake starting at 7:30am.

If you did not register online by May 7th, you must register Saturday morning. Make sure to come early if you plan on doing so. Entry fee of $10 will benefit WSAZ's Children's Charities so come out and do something positive for yourself, your loved ones and kids around the tri-state.

Entrants whose registration was postmarked by May 7, 2010 will receive a T-Shirt on the day of the race.

The race will NOT be professionally timed although there will be a timeclock for those who would like to keep their own time.
There will be mile markers, but no bib numbers. Runners and walkers will be taking part in the race.

he race begins at 8:30am. If you registered by May 7th, please arrive early to pick up your T-Shirt.

We will be accepting registrations on the day of the race beginning at 7:30am.

The race will be held rain or shine, so keep on eye on the forecast and dress accordingly.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE PARK LISTED BELOW

Directions to Barboursville Park:

Take Route 60 to Farmdale Rd. (intersection has a Rite Aid, Walgreens, Giovanni's and Chevron on the corners)

Farmdale Rd. becomes Main St.

From Main St. turn right onto Central Ave.

Take Central Ave. to Barbara Ave. (you pass a Dollar General, a fire station, an elementary and go under railroad tracks along the way)

Turn left onto Barbara St. and take it to College Ave.

Turn right on College Ave.

Barboursville Park is located approximately 1/4 mile past Barboursville Middle School on the right.

Enter the park and follow the road to the main parking lot beside the lake.

We will be set up at Shelter #9, which is not the large shelter closest to the parking lot, but the one to the left of the lake, sitting up on a slight hill.
