HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Students and staff at Huntington High School are now in a contest to lose weight and shape up, vying for the crown of Huntington High School's biggest loser.

"Sometimes, I'm like, I can't do this, it's too hard, " high school senior Jordan Tabor says.

He's working out on his lunch break, trying to lose 30 pounds.

"I hope it'll be worth it," Tabor says.

This biggest loser contest is part of a bigger picture. The school is actively involved in a "Food and Fitness Revolution."

"Our kids are starting to get it. They're starting to feel better," Karen Canfield says. "Their self-esteem is going up. Things are going well for them."

Six-person teams will compete on Friday, April 8, 2011.
