LUCASVILLE, Ohio (AP) -- Ohio has executed a man who murdered two former co-workers and shot and wounded a third in a rampage at a pet supply company.
Prison officials say 38-year-old Roderick Davie died by lethal injection at 10:31 a.m. Tuesday.
Davie had confessed to the murders and attempted killing that came several months after he was fired in 1991 from the business in Warren, near Youngstown in northeast Ohio.
William Everett, the man who survived being shot in the head, was among the people who witnessed the execution.
Davie is the seventh person to be put to death in Ohio this year, tying a record the state set in 2004. The execution is the 40th in the state since Ohio resumed executions in 1999.

Thats 19 years not 11.He shot and killed them in 1991.
I just hate to see he got to live AT THE TAXPAYER'S EXPENSE for 11 years!!! To Upset! Aug 13 @ 11:08, do you work and pay taxes? And, can you explain what you mean by saying the state has now made more victims in this case??? He is NOT a victim here!!! People like you make me very angry! Yeah, he might have a family, but, don't you think HE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THEM BEFORE HE COMMITTED THIS CRIME???
How on earth could you people be so cold? I understand that this man was found guilty of his crime. And I praise the justice system for that! But, on the other hand the state has now made more vicitms in this case! This man has a family also! My thoughts and prayers are with all envolved! God Bless!
