POMEROY, Ohio (WSAZ) - Officers with the Meigs County Major Crime Unit have busted what they call a major indoor marijuana growing operation.
As a part of a two month drug investigation, the officers executed a search warrant a house in the Dexter area Thursday night.
Sheriff Robert Beegle says investigators found a hydroponics growing operation with more than 100 plants inside that house.
61-year-old Melvin Duff and 57-year-old Robin Roberts-Duff were arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession and cultivation of marijuana.
Deputies also arrested Jonathon Runyon, 21, and Tersa Fahey, 19, on child endangerment charges.
All four people are scheduled to be in court on Friday.

Wow Beegle and the Mayberry gang are at it again...lol
look at this, someone has a little grow room for there personal use, no differant and plants of tomatoes is the law gonna come and take them too, this is a waste of tax payers money when they are 100's of people every day dieing over pharmaceutical companies pills, besides all these plants are little babies harmless, drop any charges on these people that the state has and return his or her stuff back to them.. and get out there and fight the pill houses.. all the man made drugs. For we can never stop what god himself planted on this earth for us to have and to use.. to much man made ideas god put marijuana here for all of us to have and to share.
With all the pills/crime/poverty going on there in SoOhio, I think the area would be better served by legalizing, and then providing the weed to Medical Marijuana facilities in the region. How many of you would be happy to have a good paying job, till the fertile land again (same as your ancestors did to make a living), and help out your local economy? WA & CA both are trying to get a Legalization statute on the ballot. It's coming, it's not here yet, but it will be. Get ready to make Southern Ohio weed stand out! I remember how good the stuff out of Meigs County was. Med-Marijauana is successfully used to treat chronic pain. Which would you rather have out in the community, Oxy's or weed? There's a deep-rooted, hard working force in SoOhio, but these other drugs have tarnished that. Give the youth something to work for, pay them for that work, and many of these issues will right themselves. Educate yourselves, start petitions, vote. This country is OURS!
