Worker Electrocuted Doing Repairs in Morehead
A man has been electrocuted while working on repairs at the Rowan County unemployment office in Morehead.

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - A man has been electrocuted while working
on repairs at the Rowan County unemployment office in Morehead.

According to WKYT-TV, a contract electrician died after being taken to a hospital. His name was not immediately released.

Crews were working on the office after flooding damaged the
building.

The station reported that emergency crews found the man in a tight space in the attic and had to remove him before they began resuscitation.

The building was not open to the public.
