FRAME, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Kanawha County man is facing malicious wounding charges after allegedly shooting two people at his home Sunday night.
Sheriff's Deputies arrested Michael Edward Hall, Jr. who called 911 and told dispatchers he had shot two people at his house on Aarons Fork Road.
"Some individuals showed up at the suspect's house, and a verbal altercation ensued. The person we have in custody fired some shots at the people in the vehicle," said Detective Sean Snuffer with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Det. Snuffer says Hall fired several shots. A woman was hit at least once. A man suffered more than one gunshot wound and severe injuries.
After being shot, the couple drove to a friend's house nearby and called 911. They were taken to CAMC General Hospital.
Investigators believe that Hall may have known the victims, but they were not his friends.

i agree with jr. i believe this is attempted murder...the cops should have seen that as well and ontop of not just shooting one person but 2 that should be 2 cases of attempted murder esp if they did nothing to provoke the gunman.
I heard that it was a case of mistaken identity - shooter thought victim was someone named Travis....and just started shooting
oh goodness....I know Mike Jr and his mom and siblings from school. I'm shocked to hear he was involved in something like this. I am anxious to hear the rest of the story and hope that Mike hasnt grown up to be one of the "bad guys". I also wonder what the victims were doing there if they werent his friends. Maybe like "Jeff" posted, only the male victim and the shooter really know what happened but I trust the police to get to the bottom of it.
