Sheriff's deputies in Boone County say Cathy Jo Woodrum died of a methodone overdose back in June.
Now the person who sold her the methodone is behind bars and charged with murder. Deputies arrested Rebecca Sharon Ball Friday afternoon.
The victim’s sister said, "She didn't hold Cathy down and make her do this, but had she not sold her that drug my sister would be here right now."
On Friday evening, Ball was in Southwestern Regional Jail, waiting to be arraigned.

Jason...The Methdone was the drug that caused the other drugs to be fatal, Rebecca was the result of that. The purpose of going after Ms. Ball is to kept this from happening to other people and families. The abuse must stop. I understand that Rebecca's family is upset and it is hard to understand how she can be held responsible for Cathy's death. The truth is had the Boone County police dept. made more arrest for acts like this sooner Rebecca may not be in jail and Cathy may still be with her son today, because they may have been scared to sell or take the drug. It is with great saddness that these two must be the example to others ...lets just pray that it is not in vain. That lives of other may be saved because of the action taken. Maybe others selling or taking Methdone will realize the responsiblity that comes with obtaining this drug.

Congrats to those who have used it and got off drugs. The reality is, it's abused more often than not. If they are using meth to get off drugs, why take other drugs WITH IT?! It is called, GETTING A BUZZ!!!
