An observant neighbor helped catch two burglars in the act in Cross Lanes.

Sheriff's Deputies say a neighbor called 911 and said he saw lights flickering around his neighbor's house and he knew the homeowner wasn't home.

When deputies arrived at the house in the 52-hundred block of Big Tyler Road they found the basement door open.

Then just minutes later deputies say they found Justin Tyree and Winona Williams loading up duffle bags with several items. Both suspects were arrested and charged with burglary.

After their arrests, deputies say they went to Tyree and Williams' home nearby and found other stolen property including cameras, cds and knives.
