WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va, (WSAZ) - West Virginia and Ohio State Police are still searching for Patty and Willard "Bill" Frye. The husband and wife have been missing since Thursday. Patty has dementia and Willard has Alzheimer's.

The couple's grandchildren say Patty also has diabetes and she does not have her medication with her.

They are from Crown City, Ohio but were last seen in East Lynn, West Virginia. Patty was driving. The family believes she may have been headed to Grafton, Ohio, where they lived for several years. However the family says they don't have any clues as to where they could be headed. And say their grandma gets confused easily and does not know her way around.

They are in a dark blue Ford Focus with Ohio registration DEZ-5765.

If you've seen Patty or Willard, call the Wayne detachment of the West Virginia State Police or your local police department.

UPDATE:
WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Family and friends are really starting to panic. Patty has dementia and is a diabetic. Willard is suffering from third stages of Alzheimer’s. Without medication, very little money and open roads, there's a concern to bring them home safely.

It’s been a long five days for Kathy Bernard and her brother Kenny. Their parents, Patty and Willard Frye went missing Thursday afternoon.

“Because she's a diabetic with no meds, she'll get worse,” Kathy Bernard said.

State police have searched high and low.

“We called out aviation this morning, flew around four houses, didn't find anything,” West Virginia State Police Trooper Lee Pennington said.

The Fryes drove from their home in Crown City to East Lynn. That's where they were last seen and family members believe they might have driven to their old home in Cleveland.

The couple's caretaker drove with them to East Lynn after an argument, and then Patty and Willard left.

“Caregiver got her to pull over to a store. Then they fought. Mom got the keys and sped away,” Bernard said.

Bernard says she knows her parents drove toward Wayne, but still no phone calls or leads to their whereabouts.

“We’re just trusting God will get them back and there's a lot people praying. We just hope they find that little blue car,” Bernard said.

Media outlets in northern Ohio and North Carolina are reporting the Frye’s disappearance. There are friends and family in both those areas who Patty and Willard might have gone to visit.

Anybody with information on their whereabouts should call 911. Again, the Fryes are in a dark blue Ford Focus.

Love to the Frye Family: From Barbara

Let me begin by saying thank you to all those that were praying for our family. My Mom and Dad were special people that showed Gods love to all they met. There were no strangers in their lives. Just to let you know the truth and where we are with all that has happened I wanted to for the last time let you know. Their deaths have been ruled due to exposure to the elements. The very long and hard delay was not to find actual cause, that was determined weeks ago but to legally identify my father. That was finally completed on Friday the 20th of this month. Mother was identified by her dental records but Daddy had dentures so they had to go back thru his medical records and just last week were able to get the xrays from a back surgery years ago to do a legal I.D. They will be released to us this week and they will, per their own wishes, be buried next to my brother in Northeast Ohio at the end of the week. It will be a simple service honoring what they wanted where they wanted.

I didnt know willard that well but I did get to know Patty. Patty was such a kind hearted person and I know Willard was the same from what times I spoke with him. From what year I spent with Patty I became close with her. My kids loved her a lot. I have memories that I will always have with Patty. My oldest daughter that is 12 loved spending time with Patty last summer. My daughter helped patty with planting flowers, patty had a tea parties with her and they played kick ball. My daughter said she will never forget patty or willard. My 2 youngest kids that is 3 and 5 loved her to. I remember last summer everytime they would see Patty outside they would yell Patty Patty and run to the fence to see and talk with her. Patty was the kind of person that would put a smile on your face the first time you met her. I want the family to know that patty and willard will be in my heart and I am deeply sorry for your loss of such to wonderful people. I will never forget them. Sincerely shannon

Dear Frye Family: My heart goes out to you. I know Pat and Willard from Christian Unity Church. They are my brother and my sister in Christ. They are wonderful Christian People who are right with the Lord. I love them dearly and I have fond memories of their wonderful testimonies and their beautiful songs of praise- Pat and Willard singing and Willard playing the guitar. I pray for peace for you and your family. God watches over His children. Pat and Willard Frye will forever be safe in God's arms for they are His children. The Lord does not come and go: He is with them always. He assures us that "...I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." (Heb. 13:5)and he also states "Be still and know that I am God." Whatever may come to pass, it is in God's hands. My heart does ache for your family, but may you find comfort and peace in the Blessed Assurance that the Lord will take care of His children. I love Pat and Willard very much. They are two very wonderful and kind-spirited Godly people.

Oh my goodness.. the nerve of you! If you knew the story you would keep your mouth shut. Why don't you put your name out there for us? Patty was beating my aunt and was going to run over her if she didn't get out of the way. What else could she have done. She is a mess, no mess isn't the word. She of course blames herself, but she did all she can do. I am not afraid to tell you my name, let me know yours. Bethany

Our deepest and most cherished thoughts and memories continue to replay in our minds..beautiful,and precious people that God allowed to dwell within our family and our hearts. What theyve left behind is impossible to be put into words..they are loved!I pray that this be a firm foundation that the family uses..helping step their way up to Christ.Thats all that grandma and poppa wouldve wanted. Gods honored her prayer, that they go together.I thank Him and Praise His Holy Name!As hard as this is,the hurt and the pain..I Lift up His Name, for somehow in a miraculous way,He comforts us and is holding us all the way!We chose to go to church last night regardless of our state-of-mind.He blessed! And I can just hear grandma and her precious voice singing over and over in my mind."For the God in the Mountain,Is still God in the Valley." Even now God still pushes through all pain and sorrow and annoints with her ever so sweet voice, that I pray will forever cont. to play in my mind.fryefamily@yahoo.

All condolences and prayers go out to this family. I can't not imagine what you have been through. With the accusations, and rotten comments you guys still kept a positive attitude. I did not know the couple, but they sure would have been proud. They seemed like good people. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. God bless you all & May you find the peace that you need.

This is my aunt and uncle. the care giver was another aunt, pattys sister. if you have watch the news you would know that it was a struggle and patty got very angry and aggressive. she grabbed the keys from the caregiver and she put up a major fight.. she already feels guilty, but she did all she couldve done. please dont be rude. we dont need this right now. oh and i think you meant sign an agreement, and not sing. you want to be rude, i can too.

Posted by: MY NANA HAD DEMENTIA on May 7, 2008 at 10:41 PM
GOD BLESS THE FAMILY ,MY PERSONAL THOUGHT ,THE CAREGIVER SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE!!YOU CAN'T LEAVE SOMEONE IN THIS CONDITION. CHERISH ALL MEMORIES THEY ARE PRICELESS.

Posted by: MY NANA HAD DEMENTIA on May 7, 2008 at 10:35 PM
WHAY HAPPENED TO THE CAREGIVER ? DONT THEY HAVE TO SING SOME AGREEMENT FOR THAT TYPE OF JOB?WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE SOMEONE IN THAT CONDITON ?

Posted by: concerned! on May 7, 2008 at 05:59 PM
I agree with the granddaughter that spoke on the news. I think something just dont smell right with this whole situation.. Keep your heads up, but make sure justice is done for your grandparents! They were such great people and touched the hearts of many like me that had never even met them. I think everything should be investigated from the start, and completly rule out foul play! At least we know they are in heaven, and God bless the family!

we all hoped that patty and willard would be found safe. if the two people the police found today are them, this is a very sad ending to their story but now the frye family members know where they are and will not have to keep searching. my condolences go out to the frye family members. i wish this could of ended differently. frye family members take care of each other through this terribly tragic time. you can get through this even if it does not seem like it now.

Posted by: ray on May 7, 2008 at 01:08 PM
Im sorry I couldnt be with you guys to help search this time but my prayers and thoughts are with you. your brother in The LORD

ok that other mary wasnt me , this is mary paul and mabels daughter, i'm praying that aunt Patty and Uncle Bill are found safe!!!

Posted by: Lisa on May 7, 2008 at 06:05 AM
To Mary, try being a little more sympathetic to the family. All they are asking is to keep the story out there so people remember to keep looking. I bet if it were your family you would be doing the same thing. Your comment refering to the family as "you poeple" was rude. HAVE A HEART!!!!!!!

Posted by: Anonymous on May 7, 2008 at 05:10 AM
I just saw on the news that the car was found over a hill in wayne county. It's awful to think of, but there has to be a since of relief for the family that they are one step closer! Prayer works. Everyone keep praying and bring them home.

Posted by: Bethany on May 7, 2008 at 04:05 AM
Mary, this is our family. My aunt and uncle. They can say..We want everyone to know that Patty and Willard Frye are still missing. The car has been found so thats a plus. Now we need to find them. And Mary, if this was your family you would want them to do the same. You never know what your future will hold, so back off of the smart comments! Thanks!

Posted by: Connie on May 7, 2008 at 12:13 AM
Praise God the car has been found. I do believe the fasting and praying was the key. I know God is in control and he likes to work when nothing else will. I praise his wonderful name.

i can't speak for the police. but it is my understanding unless they get a tip they have nothing else to go on. they have come to a standstill in their investigation. please keep looking every where you go. It is as if they have just vanished.

Posted by: anon on May 5, 2008 at 09:42 PM
Are the police still looking for this couple? Every time I take a drive or go to the barn, I look for their car. How can a couple just vanish and there is no more information given about it?

Posted by: sue b. on May 3, 2008 at 09:36 PM
i hope patty and willard are found soon. i wonder all the time where they could be. my parents have been dead for about 30 years but i just could not imagine what i would of done if they had just gone missing. i hope you know soon where patty and willard are. take care.

I am keeping the Faith, that we hear good news this week. I am sure someone has been touched and gotten closer to the Lord by this. That is what Patty and Bill would have wanted, for this to touch a heart and that person would surrender to the Lord.I have sent an Email to WSAZ and no comment has been recieved. I do believe after they are found I will no longer watch this news staion. I agree about the animal thing it was a Dog and now Horses. Don't get me wrong no one should be cruel to any animals.I Do think people, should be first. We will be having our family reunion this month, I am standing on the word of the Lord we will know something by then. Please all of the Christians lets agree and believe they will found. I Love them very much, I am a sister-in-law but I love them dearly. I know it is really getting the best of the Brothers and Sisters. Praise God we no that where ever they are at they are in the Loving hands of the good Lord. Serving the Lord was always first in there lif.

i didn't get to finish my comment addressed to ? on may ist. i wanted to finish by saying come on wsaz give us a break. it is my understanding you got the story about a mans dog in a tunnel at Genoa to go national. Can't you use your influence to help this family out. Shame on you if you have the capabilities to help find this couple and won't use them for that purpose.

Posted by: Linda on May 2, 2008 at 04:58 PM
to ? yes it is very likely they left the state. neighboring states have been alerted to watch for the vehicle. We believe a body of water is one possible scenario. As far as national attention only a bit here and there such as cnn.com. We keep trying but so far no luck getting it on. Seems the general public is more interested in the mistreatment of animals. That is if you go by what the local news channels are showing over and over. I wonder who they consult about the news priorities. i certainly am all for animal rights and love all creatures created by God but come on now people we are not a third world country who doesn't value our senior population. Yes two older people who are suffering from memory loss may not be able to contribute a lot to society but even their very presence is still valuable to the many who love them. give us a break here wsaz. Use your Influence to get this national As i understand you did the Dog stuck in a tunnel at Genoa.

Posted by: ? on May 1, 2008 at 08:58 PM
Is there a possibility that this couple left the state in their vehicle? Have neighboring states been alerted to watch for the vehicle? Has it gained national attention at all? Are they apt to have driven into a body of water? Surely the car is out there somewhere, and if it is found they can't be too far away. Keep looking... poor couple :o(

Thank you to all who are still willing to help even after all this time. We are beginning to see people give up in a since and fall back away from this situation. God help us please! We are still in torment...now even more so!Kathy thanks for even thinking to ask everyone to pray and fast together for grandma and poppa! We all have so many thoughts and feelings we are having to deal with daily. God 'does' know whats happened and thats all I can do to rest all my faith within Him that in His time we will all hear the news.We all love them so very much! If you ever met them, then you know that its so had not to just fall in love with the people that they are. They've loved me more than probably half of what my own family can say. They've been my mentors, and the light in my life personally that lead me in the right direction I was meant to be.Serving God.I love them and the family that has welcomed me with open arms.We are all trying to stand beside one another through this.God bless you all!

Just wanted to say that I will be praying and fasting with everyone else tomorrow from 12-4. My sister's church in Northern panhandle of West Va. are going to be fasting a praying also. I called her and she told her church this evening so they will be right along with you in agreement. I think and pray about this daily. It is one of the most saddest things, and I will never forget this as long as I live. God said HE is the Alpha and Omega..the beginning and the end. He cares no matter what the outcome and heaven is real and a wonderful place of eternal joy and peace. "IF" these two wonderful souls are not alive..then we know they are safe and happy "right now" in heaven rejoicing with their Saviour and the saints who have gone on before. God will answer and he will give closure. He is a mighty GOD and he will answer!!! I speak peace that passes all understanding to your hearts and minds!! May the God of peace keep your hearts and minds. The peace that passess all understanding be yours!

Posted by: Kathy on Apr 30, 2008 at 05:12 PM
Thank you every one for agreeing to pray with me on Thursday, I am expecting God to hear us!!!! To the person who asked about foul play of course the police checked into that! We all want answers but if you contact the Alzheimers Association you will find this is not unheard of when it comes to Alzheimers patients. We as the immediate children were trying to honor Mom and Dads wishes to remain in their home for as long as possible. They were with a care giver at the time of their disappearance. It was not unheard of for the care giver to take them to a Drs. appt. or even to the store or out to lunch. Unfortuneatly you cannot predict an "episode" when they loose touch with reality and become aggresive which is what happened in this case. Please pray that God will lead us to them. We the family believe they are alive out there somewhere but confused and unaware of their surroundings.May God bless all of you

Posted by: Melissa on Apr 30, 2008 at 05:08 PM
I think that maybe some better photos of the couple should be distributed if available.. maybe that would help? The ones at the top of the story are good, but they need to be enlarged. Just a thought. I'm still praying for you all, and I e-mailed Nancy Grace and AMW.

I'm only asking this because I'm concerned. I read this story often and it saddens me to know that what seems to be such wonderful people, are 'still' missing.Surely theres something being investigated. More than whats being said. Are the authorities checking on foul-play??I feel so sorry for the family, and I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but there are alot of stories out there similar to this one..where the elderly couple seems to be a so-called hassle for some, and its easier them being gone due to that and also an inheritance.I dont mean to step on toes, but surely the authorities are suspecting foul-play at this point..a good month and a half missing. They seem like they would be such a blessing to have as relation,or even a friend. I am praying and hoping that something is done soon. Its just impossible for no one to see them or their car. This story is out everywhere. I'll continue to pray, but hopefully God will reveal all.God does know all! My prayers are with the family.

we need this story to stay out in the news and in the fore front of peoples minds. i am so hoping that america's most wanted will have it on. i understand from posting on this site that a.m.w. is talking to some of the family. if it was on nationally i think that would really help. i hope that happens. they will be found, we just can't know when. maybe tomorrow. hope so.

Did this story run on WTAP? Parkersburg, Marietta, and Belpre are all river towns and their ohio plates wouldn't stand out, but perhaps you could get them to run their story and pictures again if they already did in the past. There has to be somebody who saw something, noticed them appearing confused, were behind them in line at the gas station something somewhere! Everyone please keep telling this story to every one you know, this family so desperately needs answers. Lets find Patty and Willard together and bring them home...

Posted by: ra on Apr 28, 2008 at 11:01 PM
I think about your family every day. I am so sorry for your family's ordeal. I hope you find them soon. My thoughts are with your family through this nightmare, and I will continue to look for them and their car everywhere I go...even if it's of little help.

As the daughter of Patty and Willard Frye I want to thank you all for your prayers and caring during this awful time and I would ask that you join me on Thursday May 1st from noon to 4 in fasting and prayer that God would lead someone to find them and call the authorities. We know the authorities are doing all they can with no real leads but our God can turn His light on them in a moment! Please join me as united we seek Gods help in bringing Mommy and Daddy home, there is real power in the cries of Gods children, mountains can be moved and lost ones can be found!!!!! I just want to tell everyone that I am still looking and doing all I know to do. I also have sent e-mails and links to many large news stations. I think that if everyone keeps at it and sending out those e-mails that, they will see just how much we need their help and hopefully will do something about it. I know that many family members who live in Ohio will be coming in next month. Hopefully we will have goods news and can celebrate as a family. I love you all. Just keep the prayers going up and pray for the other situations that are taking place in our family.

I am definitely going to e-mail Nancy Grace because she is such an advocate for missing people and a genuine person. I will also make sure to send an e-mail to AMW. I'm going to help as much as I can. I think of the Frye's each time I drive through Wayne County and I am totally and completely upset and puzzled by the whole situation. May God give you strength, family! You're loved by many.

I can't believe that this couple still has not been recovered. I know that it must be horrible just not knowing where they are and not having closure. I am praying for your entire family, as I'm sure many others are. I wish AMW and other news outlets would get this out. They need to take this seriously!

Hey everyone. I haven't commented for a while cause I really don't know what to say. I keep hoping and praying everyday I will get a phone call and tell me that they found grandma and pop-aw. Has anyone talked to the police lately? What are they saying? I haven't hardly talked to anyone lately. I feel like since I don't have any good news, I should just keep to myself. I love everyone and still praying that we will find them soon. Thanks to everyone for all of your help and concern. To my family I love you and hope we have some closure soon....God Bless

i wish a.m.w. would hurry up and have this on their show. i think that having it on nationally would really help find the fryes. i know the family has tried so hard to get this on nationally. maybe being on a.m.w. would get other shows and news agency to have the story on also. hope so.

I'm putting the family and Patty and Willard on the prayer wall. With God's help I know we will find them.

My prayers are with you(the family). I personally know Willard and Pat Frye. I used to be a member at Christian Unity Church back in the 80s. They were a member there as well. I also been to thier home when they used to live in Litchfield. I will continue to pray for them and the family. Brother Alberto Negron

The minute I hear anything from AMW I will let you know. Its a blessing, them being interested in covering the story to help...on the other hand, its horrible just waiting on the word or response from them. We're still praying though! Keeping our eyes upon Him! He knows whats best for grandma and poppa.Thank you everyone! This really is a time when anyone who can help, will do the most good. We've had many from other areas far from here, go out and post flyers and call their media stations. Travel around searching for any sign of their car,and even call all their local hotels. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No,we havent heard anything or found them yet....but God see's everyones helping hand in this. We just thank Him daily for you people! We love you all! Keep praying Gods Will!!! Frye Family

Please everyone lets bind together and pray. I know God Still answers Prayers. I know that if we could talk to them they would be very Pleased if this had touched someones heart and they would give there life to the. Well once again lets keep those prayers going up.

I know the silver alert is active in Texas and Kentucky , thats one of the first resources i hunted about, iknew they were tryin gto pass it in Ohio , just didnt know when it was going to happen,

i wish i had more than just a few kind words for you frye family. i know you are trying as hard as you can. i really think this situation must feel like walking in a black tunnel without any light at the end but if a person just keeps walking, maybe the light will come in to view. i know when my sisters were murdered that is how it felt to me but i kept walking for my son's sake mostly. this situation does have an end and i so hope that it is a good end. from their pictures mr. and mrs. frye seem like good people and we don't want to lose any good people from this world. we need them too badly. take care and keep putting one foot in front of the other. if you get that much accomplished then you are in ahead.

Please let us know Kayla when it will air, this is hard on everybody, love you all

People are so quick to judge someone when they themselves have not walked in their shoes. Live and let live. If you cannot be a little more supportive, then keep you comments to yourself. Hopefully they are found soon and I will keep an eye open for a little blue car with ohio tags. best of luck to the family.

Thanks so much to you all!Yesterday was grandpas birthday, which was so very hard to deal with.Him not being here to celebrate it over dinner with us,which is what we normally would do.Followed by him trying to accompany us in singing gospel songs. The family is just so tore up and and hurting in all of this.Yes,we all need answers! The family,as well as the wonderful people caring enough to keep up with this story! We thank you! As far as the amber alert..they have passed and alert called the Silver Alert!I am told it cannot be used yet,not even for an important case like this one.I cant even get straight answers as far as 'when' they can put this out there in use.Sue B,thank you for the kind words...we are trying all that we possibly can.Not only us,but the whole family as well.Americas Most Wanted hasnt even given me a forsure go ahead on when they will air the story.I'm pushing as hard as I can.But we can only do so much until God says it is time.HE KNOWS ALL!My faith rests upon HIM!

I want to say thank you to Mr.Michael Wooten. I sent him an e-mail a few days ago about giving an update and letting everyone know they are still missing. I got a response within hours from Mr.Wooten. It was on the news at 11 Tuesday night. The whole family is going through so much at this time. When it rains it pours and its really pouring on our family right now. Everyone please continue to look everywhere you go and continue to pray for our family. Once again, two thumbs up to Mr.Michael Wooten. Love to all!

I know some may think things dont look good, but the truth is this is someone's parents and grandparents. U must have faith in God that things will turn out the way he has planned. I have followed the story since day one, and checked on updates daily. I just pray everyday that they will be found and bring some closure to the family. I could not imagine what they are going through. My heart goes out to each and everyone of u, and just remember to stick together. Blame is not the issue now, finding them safely is. God bless u all!

First of all Anon....if you are going to try to insult me be adult enough to list your name. No my head is NOT in the sand. I do in fact believe in miracles and the power of prayer and positive thinking. I know how I would feel if it were my loved ones that went missing. I would want all the prayers and support I could get not this negative junk. I will continue to pray for their safe return. Your very welcome Linda. God Bless the whole family...even you anon.

thank you Jenni. To UPDATE ON APR 16th Please find out the answers to all those questions and post them for us. particularly about the amber alert. Find out if that is being used. All the questions you posed are good ones. We just need the answers. Let us know.

im not saying this to sound funny or try to make a joke, i am being serious, but has anyone tried to contact sylvia browne? or another psychic? i mean after all this time, isnt it time to try something new?

Posted by: anon on Apr 17, 2008 at 12:37 PM
Apparently Jenni, you are the only one with your head in the sand.

Posted by: Jenni on Apr 16, 2008 at 09:26 PM
People please keep your negative comments to yourself. This family is dealing with enough they need all the positive comments and prayers they can get. I will continue to pray that they find your family members and that they are safe and sound. God bless you!

to kayla and jerry. i think you are the grandson and granddaughter-in-law i met at the first search in east lynn. anyway i think it is wonderful that america's most wanted might help with this case. i know the process of trying to get help has been long and a real strain on your family but apparrently you are getting somethings moving along. just know that i think you are doing what is possible in this situation. if america's most wanted gets the story on i am sure it will help alot. you are doing a good job just keep trying. everything has an end this situation does too. take care.

Posted by: Jess on Apr 16, 2008 at 01:40 PM
I jus dont have the time to read through all the comments so excuse me if this has been asked be for...... Has anyone considered foul play? Id there anyone in your family who might benefit from their departure? I know its a hard thing to think about but it happens n considering it n thinking about it might help you find them i too think bodies of water near their home should be dragged asap......

Posted by: Update? on Apr 16, 2008 at 12:12 PM
When is WSAZ going to do an update and broadcast it? I have seen less important stories get more air time(not necessarily from wsaz). As viewers we would like to know where this is. Are there still searches being conducted? How many state police detachments have the flyers posted? Is there an APB on the vehicle? Can AMber Alert Help? I can't imagine what the family is going through. I also wonder if they left out of frustration from getting older and losing their memory. Maybe they flew out of the country? As long as they had money, anything is possible. How about credit card activity?

Posted by: Debbie on Apr 16, 2008 at 12:10 PM
I hate to say it, but my guess is the outcome is not going to be a good one. Maybe they should drag some bodies of water in the area. Two women in Ky. went missing a couple years ago and about a year and a half later they were found not far off a road in heavy brush, they'd been there the whole time and were not spotted. One was still in the car the other was found on the ground. Sad to say, I feel a similar outcome is likely.Very sad.

Posted by: Linda on Apr 16, 2008 at 11:21 AM
Debby no one thinks you were pointing a finger at anyone but Patty didn't know where her sister on 75 lived. She had never been there. Keep posting your comments we can't let this rest til they are found.

Posted by: Frye Family on Apr 16, 2008 at 10:54 AM
We have contacted Americas Most Wanted, and I am in the process of working with them...trying to get grandma and poppas pictures and story on the air. They have told me they are interested in the case, and will try to help! So please people, pray that this may be the Lord's will, and that all this goes well. I have sent them a few things and are to get back to me about what they can do. Thank you all for all the prayers and concerns. It means so much in this hard time!! We love you all. GOD BLESS!!! Jerry and Kayla Frye

I think it's strange that these people with very little money on them have been gone this long without a trace of them being found. Have their accounts been used? Who saw them in Wayne County? Why isn't WSAZ putting this news out there? Something is very fishy here.

Posted by: sue b. on Apr 16, 2008 at 10:13 AM
i believe they will be found. we just can't know when. for the family's sake they need to be found. they could still be in the wayne/east lynn area but i think that is unlikely since they were driving. so it is hard to know where to actually decide to search but i will keep watching for them. my sympathy goes out to the rest of the frye family.

I checked Pattys home place and the family cemeteries. I'd say Cleveland with family who aint talkin.

their have been dozens of emails goin gto the major news stations, and i put the story on Ireport.com , its part of CNN online , they ignore it

Posted by: Comment on Apr 15, 2008 at 08:33 AM
I have been following this story and I can't help but to think that they are close by. I keep praying they will be found safe, but the longer it goes on, the more I think they are close by. Have you checked every side road for signs of a car accident? Somebody surely would have seen them by now at a gas station or something?

Posted by: Edie on Apr 14, 2008 at 01:13 PM
Has anyone contacted the Major News Outlets, like NBC, CNN, FOX News? I know that at CNN their is a couple reporters that graduated from Marshall, and Matt Lauer on the Today Show worked here in Huntington. They might be able to do something, like post their pictures.

Posted by: LIZ on Apr 14, 2008 at 09:56 AM
IS THERE A SEARCH PLANNED IN THE NEAR FUTURE? JUST WONDERING .. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE STORY & WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HELP.

Posted by: Jenni on Apr 14, 2008 at 08:10 AM
I check on her daily to see if there has been any new developments. I pray that Mr. and Mrs. Frye come home safely and soon. Its already been a month and something more should be done. I dont think the law enforcement or even the media are taking this seriously enough.

Posted by: Debby on Apr 14, 2008 at 07:19 AM
I hope with the comment I posted tht it was not pointing fingers but maybe that when they left Wayne and headed back towards Ohio or where ever. Just by reading the RTE #76 "sight" that mabe it could be RTE 75 where maybe Patty knew someone lived and maybe she tried to get help. When Patty got to Lavalette she tried to go back to her sisters (Rte 75). She may have been trying to get back to someone she knew and that she had been. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you.
