CATLETTSBURG, Ky (WSAZ)--The man some have called the “Duct Tape Bandit” is competent to stand trial.
That is the ruling from Boyd County Judge.
Back in November, Kasey Kazee's trial was postponed so he could get a psychiatric examination.
A psychiatrist told the court Tuesday that Kazee was capable of understanding the charges against him.
Police say Kazee robbed Shamrock Liquors in Ashland back in August with his head wrapped in duct tape.
He faces first-degree robbery and second-degree persistent felony offender charges. Kazee says he not guilty.
Kazee’s trial is now scheduled for May 12.

I was setting in the parking lot at foodland watching the paramedics take the tape off his face, you could tell that it wasnt easy but alas the duct tape came off cause of sweat, its something that I will never forget I couldnt drive for laughing but sad part makes people from this area look stupid. THERE IS A SAYING "DUCT TAPE IS LIKE THE FORCE IT HAS A LIGHT SIDE AND DARK SIDE AND HOLDS THE UNIVERSE TOGETHER" but its not good for your face ..roflmbo
