She will attend a rally that is expected to start at 3:15 p.m. Doors will open to the event at 1:15 p.m.

This will be Mrs. Clinton's third visit to the Big Sandy Region this year.

Senator Barack Obama will not be in Kentucky this week but his wife, Michelle, will visit western Kentucky.

I would just like to say that I for one am tired of the horrible comments that I have been hearing/reading directed at the people here and Ky and WV, in which they refer to the people of both as "ignorant" "rednecks" racists" "kkk members" "backwoods hillbillys" simply because he did not win in either state. Yet they fail to mention the fact of Obama winning over 90 % of African American votes in many States. Since his loss I've also heard/read many comments where they try to claim the reason for him not campaigning here and in WV is because we are "crazy dangerous racists". When the real reason is he didn't think we were important enough to and he knew he would not win here. They fail to look at the fact that there were reports of bomb threats in Indiana but he still went there and campaigned. Why, because he thought he could win and wanted to win there. If we were such bad people here in Ky, why did he allow his wife to come here.

So glad there are so many supporters of Mrs. Clinton. She will make a fine president. I agree with most of the comments on here. McCain has got to be forced out, and Obama just doesn't seem trustworthy. You know that deep down gut feeling. Clinton is who we need to get the good ole US of A back on track. I can't wait till Bush goes packing. Go Hillary! P.S. Sorry to all WV'ins. Robert Byrd did your state an injustice. WV spoke LOUD and clear, they want Hillary and he just totally disreguarded each of you. He's just old and sinile anyway. Too old to be doing anything in office. Go Hillary! Can't wait to call you President of my country!!!!

Superdelegates need to remember they need a vote later too, and if they don`t follow their own people, our votes won`t be there for them either.

GOOOOO HILLARY! U GOT MY VOTE THIS MORNING! i have been waiting months to push those buttons! (take that ...directed towards some of those news channels "not wsaz"...but those who try to influence the people`s vote)don`t tell us who you think the winner is, WE THE PEOPLE, WILL LET YOU KNOW. I can think for myself, thank you very much. Experience and a strong, fighter, Hillary you inspire so many of us women, and you are an inspiration for our daughters and this generation. I remember what the economy was like when Bill was President, it was better than it ever has been, and i still had some money in my pocket at the end of the week. And guess what? We weren`t paying high gas prices or spending money on a war. The U.S. need to mind their own business, enough things here that need worked on. What happened to family first? America needs to take care of all Americans before going anywhere overseas. KEEP UP THE FIGHT, HILLARY!

I wonder if they liked us hillbillies.

If Obama gets it, the working class people will have nothing! We do need another Clinton in office to clean up after another Bush. And the delegates should listen to how their people voted, they vote for them and hopefully they won't forget this. Sen Byrd, is too old, so I guess he doesn't care what his people in WV want. Obama will not say God Bless America, will not sing the national anthem, will not say God Bless America and said he will not put his hand on the bible to take oath of office. CNN also showed a picture of him stomping on the American flag! Is that who we need in office? I don't think he is American, and his wife too....first time in her life she is proud to be American? God Help us if he gets the nomination. Because everyone will either vote for McCain or not vote at all and McCain wins by a landslide. Obama has no experience. Clinton all the way!!! The votes in Florida and Michigan should count and she would win the nomination. Hopefully someone will wake up

From: AMERICAN VOTER,Jen,Jen,Jen, yes Byrd did come out 4 Obama, and a shame it is. He had the respect of everyone HAD, and yes he can support whoever he wishes, that is democracy, which I hope you r enjoying cause if Obama gets n2 office we may not have it anymore. He is a liar, I dont have 2 remind everyone about HIS words "clinging 2 religion" this from a man who's supposed 2b a christian? WAKE UP JENNIFER, "cling 2 their guns" the second ammendment gives us that right. But I'm sure he would prefer 2 do away with it, disarm the whole of America so we would B completely open 2 attack from within. I'm sure he would like 2 do away with the constitution all together.None of the candidates r perfect, but Obama is the worst of all, McCain a GW clone, Obama well he's Obama, and Hillary aformer first lady with access 2 Bill under which we were flourishing, it is'nt hard 4 us who actually care about our nations future 2 make d choice. Vote Hillary vote 4 America, vote 4 a real leader NOT OBAMA

Who cares if she has a beer, that's her business. If you're a christian, you're not suppose to judge, that's not your job you should know that by now. Maybe if our stupid president would wake up and get this country back on track, he would deserve a cold one. It took a Clinton to clean up after the first BUSH wreck, it's going to take a CLINTON to clean up after this BUSH wreck!!! Hillary is a down to earth awesome person and she has had experience with her husband when he was president. She's not completely in the dark about things and she's the best choice we have to pick from. Barack needs to be out there reading to kids and showing this country he cares, not having his wife do it. She's not that one running for president, he is, and I hope he fails BIG TIME!!!

It looks like the working citizens and the Clintons are about all of what is left of America. The politicans and the rich don't want the taxpapyers or average American to have a say in government, they want it all. Vote Hillary and against anyone that trys to destroy her fight for the working American...

Wake up people we want someone who knows how to run our nation, we dont want another republican.

Its a sad day in america when your own state reps goes against the will of the people....

Posted by: Jennifer on May 19, 2008 at 04:04 PM
Woohoo! Byrd endorsed Obama!!! Sorry American Voter! By the way, super delegates are not required to vote to reflect the states votes. They can vote for who ever they want.

Posted by: roberta on May 19, 2008 at 03:35 PM
I wish this would end! I get so tired of all of the political hoopla! Don't they know they are only making people decide to not go and vote. Personally, I am just fed up with it. I don't think I'll vote for any of them. This is a shame. What is America coming to?

Posted by: Tonya on May 19, 2008 at 01:23 PM
I hope Hillary wins this she would be a great president, things were so much better when Bill was president so you know it will be alot better than what it is now if Hillary gets it.... Everyone needs 2 get out and vote for Hillary!!!!!

During the interview with Bill O' Reilly he told Hillary what Miri said in her comments here. She did not do much and the taxes were high in the state. If you can afford her go for her. I am on limited income and she and Mc Cain scares me tremendously.

I think it a priviliage that she is going to be in PHS today. I wish that I could be there to watch it, knowing how large that gym is I hope that they fill the whole gym. Go HILLARY! Women all the way to the White House!

Posted by: Christian woman on May 19, 2008 at 09:41 AM
I'll never vote for a woman who drinks whiskey and beer just to please others. She tells lies to.She is a mean person and don't care what she says to hurt others.

Posted by: Joe on May 19, 2008 at 07:50 AM
Maybe Hillary should not show up since Al-Jazere is in town and the Arabs want change. Some Arab with a dodgers hat on telling me how the Arab world wants U.S. citizens to vote ticks me off. Wake up America !!!

Posted by: confused on May 19, 2008 at 05:47 AM

Posted by: Chick on May 19, 2008 at 02:14 AM

On behalf of the people of NY for whom she has done absolutely nothing, could the good people of KY keep her there. Thanks

I'm a huge Clinton supporter and I hope she gets it. This country needs someone better in office. Bill was a great president and so will Hillary. My vote is for her.

  • Idea of gas-tax holiday dies quick death

A gas price sign is shown in McKinney, Texas, Friday, July 18, 2008.
