SEATTLE, Wash. (NBC) -- Washington state police are investigating a vicious sucker-punch caught on tape after a youth baseball game.
The incident occurred following a tournament game in Snohomish County over the weekend.
As the teams were shaking hands after the game one player pulls back and strikes another in the face.
The player who was hit and his family don't want to be identified, but said he was given stitches at a nearby hospital after the incident.

The kid who threw the punch was sticking up for his team mate who tore ligements in his knee when he stole second. The second basemen was responsible for his injuries because the ball thrown down by the catcher went over the second basemen and into the outfield. The second basemen lunged into the path of which the kid was sliding and they collided. So who really deserved punnishment?

The kid is a sucker punching little punk that needs to be suspended from the league. If your going to fight someone meet them head-on don't be a coward like this kid was. I am not saying fighting is OK but if you take it to that level meet the person head on don't be a punk. Little League is all politics and I am sure this was a kid of a Manager and he was only suspend for one game rather the correct punishment and banned from the league for the rest of the year. We don't have stiff enough punishments to show behavior like this will not be tolerated. If my son were to pull that I would understand him being kicked out of the league because in this incident it was premeditated and not a reaction to any action that just took place. Just my thoughts and opinions.

That was not a vicious punch he was provoked and was standing up for himself i commend him for his bravery. The other kid is a weakling.
