CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It will be a few more weeks before you're dealt a hand of poker at Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center, but the training is officially underway.

The racetrack has partnered up with West Virginia State Community College to recruit students for the upcoming table games classes that started Monday morning. The classes are at 8:00am, 1:00pm, and 6:00pm.

If you're interested in becoming a dealer, we're told there are still several spots available. You just need to contact the college at 304-766-5113.

We're told Poker, Roulette, and Black Jack fees are $490 for a 7-week course, while Craps is $770 for 11-weeks.
