DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is facing charges because police say they caught him with child porn.

The West Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigated Robert Simmons of Dunbar.

Police charged Simmons with possessing and distributing child porn over the internet.

Simmons was arraigned and released on $10,000 bond.

What happened to the phrase innocent until proven guilty I know this man and this case is not what everyone thinks that it is,hes NOT a PERVERT in any manner anyone who knows him knows better I also think that a person that looks at a child in the way that there saying it is wrong but its not the case there was nothing sexual about it, noone out there needs to worry about there children with this man. He would never hurt a child.

If the man is back out on the street, then people should know who he is they can keep their kids away. I hope nothing like this happens to any of your family judge.

When I heard this story I immediately thought that their was no way this could be the same person that I knew of. Well doing my research, yep, it was him. I found the picture of him somewhere else. I am always saddened by people who do these sorts of things. This time it's 10 times worse. I just hope that Justice will be served and that he gets what is coming to him.

I think a child porn case is far more severe than drugs. Yet these disgusting people are allowed out of jail. I wonder if the judge that lets these people out are child rapists too. It wouldnt make sense otherwise!!

Just like last week when they arrested the Blount boys for the same thing, no picture. And now I hear that since their daddy is a Mason he hired his Mason buddy lawyer friend and these guys are gonna get off scott free...apparently the whole family thinks this is some kind of joke, and that those computer geek 23 yr old mommas boys wouldnt ever do anything like that! Makes me wonder, what else have they done, that daddy (who just happens to work for the State of WV, is a Mason and practically the Mayor of Loudendale has done to keep these sweet boys out of jail?

Why don't you put his FACE on the front page of the paper so people will know who he is. It might help Protect a Child! Do people ever noticed how certain peoples faces who did commit crimes or who are suppose to commit certain crimes are not shown in the paper or online on the West Virginia Jail Admissions or Online Inmates Locators? If you are going to show one face show them ALL no matter who's relative it is. BE FAIR! Could this be discrimination? Like in some cases of crimes involving several people,giving one persons name and withholding the others who also was involved or comitted the act of crime together.

Lock this man up and throw away the keys. He is a sick man. Big BUBBA needs to get ahold of him in Jail. Real Men in jail hate people who hurt or abuse kids.

As a mother of 2 BEAUTIFUL young children...this TRUELY discusts me!!! Proof of HELL on earth! I pray for the children that have been used for an adults sick & distorted pleasures. SAD....so very sad! LORD bless us all please! We need you more than ever...amen!
