FRAME, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A hail storm hit northern Kanawha County Sunday afternoon, turning the town of Frame into a winter wonderland.

Several inches of dime sized hail fell in a short time. Take a look at our e-reporter pictures sent in by viewers who live in this area.

WV is beautiful,I moved away from here one time.I couldn't wait to get back here.I now appreciate the beauty. The people here are wonderful and the mountains are breath taking.I love my state.

This story sure went to hail in a handbasket.

Dear Jane, When you use God's name in a sentence, you capitalize the G. Tomorrow you could wake up and have an illness hit you or an accident and you may need Medicaid or Disability Assistance. I am sorry that you cannot see the good in people and the beautiful land that God has created for us.

Posted by: to hillbilly/american voter on Jun 24, 2008 at 06:17 PM
Dont know what the voter has to do with anything but for your info im not on disability matter of fact have never missed a days work in my life and that includes since i was moved out of mom and dads by uncle sam in 1966 and i spent a year in one of the most beautiful places on earth but i hated it too not a good situation and i have a real good idea of your state i worked there from on end to the other and have probably seen more of it than most residents but i guess everyone has their own opinion of beauty and as iread another post i have to agree if you think mountain top removal is attractive then thats your choice but if you have really been around then you know that the tundra in bloom flying into alaska the sun rising in the grand canyon and setting in hawaii all top mountian top removal and that is why real beauty is protected and wva's beauty is not so take some of the pride you all have and protect what you have.i doubt that will happen because your soul has been sold for coal

To Jane: yes there are problems here in WV but isn't there anything you like about us??

Posted by: Maw Kettle on Jun 24, 2008 at 11:44 AM
Well i guess i will have to get on here and brag on myself because no one else will. We have survived here in West Virginia till now and we'ill make it some how. Make the best with what you got! If ice storms kills the crops then catch some fesh or go out kill some squrils rabbits deers and bears. Our great grandparents made it when the red coats came through here and drove our cattle off. If Obama comes through nail him by his ears to a tree and get some to come look at em.

Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 24, 2008 at 10:52 AM
Here's the deal. It doesn't matter how many comments we post, Jane and Jane will not change their opinion. In fact, it will probably only validate what she said in the first place. Ladies, I'm sorry you feel that way...it is your loss. Hopefully you can find a spot in the world that does make you happy. I get the feeling, however, that it isn't our state that makes you a miserable person, so I hope you get help with whatever that may be.

Posted by: Billy Hill on Jun 24, 2008 at 07:05 AM
We had some hail in Mason County also, I can't imagine getting the amount that Frame had, nor the amount that Janes getting. But, Jane asked for it.

Posted by: Jim on Jun 24, 2008 at 12:24 AM
How did this turn into an Obama thing..The only thing I can even think of is that place that had the hail storm must have voted Obama.

Well folks i would like to get in this last post before thay take it away from us.i would like for JANE and all of her FOLLOWERS to under stand why we get so upset about things like this.when it comes time for a WAR over oil etc, etc,OUR WOMEN&MEN go and fight for our country just like everyone elis do,and OUR POLICE DIE in the line of DUTY just like everyone elis,s do, and we BELIVE in GOD becouse WE are soppose to,had it not been for him none of us would be here posting right now,and WE have very GOOD HEARTED and HARD WORKING FOLKS in this LOVELY STATE that we call HOME,it may not be much or not what you are use to, but it is OUR HOME!and we love it and defend it and WE LOVE and DEFEND OUR NEIGHBORS, and we half to fight the drug users and dealers and murders every day just like everyone in the usa do,and what makes our great state always last in every thing is our state GOV will not stand up for us like most states have!ours can be bought for nothing but you cant buy our love for WV!

It's pretty ironic that one storm caused this storm of comments. To: Jane - remember everyone has a right to their opinion but as you may notice a 'smarter' person would have known not to express it in the manner you did - a lesson for any area you move to. No we're not going to make everyone happy, but this state is very underrated in two ways: one many people LEARN to survive no matter their situation, and two many people here are street smart, or better said 'life smart' instead of book smart. I believe 'life smart' is better. Many choose to come back here because of family and connections, and there are many beautiful, spacious areas of nature if you take time to look. Again I say life is what we make of it and its not about statistics. If we choose to enjoy WV then act proud of it. If you only want to insult our people and beauty then leave. At least we can find WV on a map unlike some. The actions of some overshadow others, you can find much good around you if you look.

I'm really surprised and pleased to see that their is so much unity with spirit in WV. I have been all over the country, WV and Arkansas are the only two places that really felt like home. Texas was close but different. Is that because I'm so ignorant or are people more like they should be here. Is it a coincidence as the moral decline in America took place our standard of living went with it! As it was in the days of noahs flood and the fall of the Roman empire. Nero was partying, playing the fiddle while his country was being burned. They forgot God first then was destroyed with natural disasters and disase. Does this sound familiar nowadays? AS for China and Japan they are exploiting their own people to get a dollar with in god we trust written on it.

WV, is an awsome place. Yes it is not the most wealthy. Good hard working folks. My childhood memories rest here and they were the best. My grandparents, aunts and uncles are still there. I miss the smell of the mountains. Do not speak ill of a wonderful state in the USA, you have no right to We are all part of what makes our country so great.

I would like to actually comment about this story I was in the storm and it was kinda scary and exciting at the same time. It sucks all the damage it cause but it was exciting to be part of something like that. Id say its a once in a lifetime experience. Most people never experience something like that in their lifetime. Noone was hurt that I know of so lets just Thank God for that instead of arguing about crap that doesnt even have to do with this story God Bless

Don't be embarrassed H8WVU, most of the time people think that you are talking about Virginia not West Virginia and they say were the ignorant ones. I think its pretty safe to say that if you hate it so much and you're still here that makes you the ignorant one. To bad you can't see me showing you the state bird. To Jane is awsome, the reason everybody is attacking Jane is because she called everybody lazy and ignorant, that includes you too. I do not get a medical card or disability. So before you go calling everybody ignorant maybe you should get to know some of the people first. See she ticked off so many people and they still offered to help her pack her stuff. Were such nice people. If you think that you're going on to bigger and better things, then I would say that you have smoked too much maryjane and you're going to be disappointed where ever you end up.

Come on people, we should welcome Jane with open arms, because it seems she has worn her welcome out in the other 49 states. Jane, if you don't like it here the only thing I can say is... next stop is MEXICO.

Posted by: H8WVU on Jun 23, 2008 at 06:30 PM
Jane, right on. I've lived here my whole life and I couldn't agree more. The only good thing in this state is Marshall University and a few good people. This place is a dump and I'm embarrassed to tell people where I'm from when I'm out of town. And don't worry, I'm out as soon as the opportunity presents itself. I may stop by Morgantown on the way out to pick up my free MBA, but after that it's on to bigger and better things. You people are the worst. Bye!

Posted by: The real issue on Jun 23, 2008 at 05:36 PM
See Jane may not like it here and thats her choice but the real issue is that there is so much ignorance here that it is beyond being funny anymore the first moron to post blames a hail storm on obama now you tell me how smart he is you would think obama was god the way he gets credit for all things mysterious stop and think people before you speak and just maybe some of the sterotypes would disapper but with so many racist comments and just plain ignorant lies and believers it is no wonder people feel sorry for someone who states they live here some of you people are embarassments to your own families they just dont speak up hoping you'll just be still and no one will realize your kin so please just take a min. the next to you decide to weigh in on a subject and see if what you are saying is remotely logical before you make a fool out of yourself and you fellow wva's but most of all think of your family no one wants for people to know their kin folk are just plain stupid

I read Jane's comment this morning before going to work. I must say that even I was offended and I don't even live there. If she is smart enough, no one will ever find out her real name. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes if she is ever "found out", LOL. Do you think she got the hint?????

Posted by: Lance on Jun 23, 2008 at 03:47 PM
Jane-Please feel free to exit WV anytime you please. I have lived here my entire life. I have a good job, work 12 hours a day and have never asked anybody for help. You should go back to whatever snot nosed state you came from. We don't want you here.

Posted by: kygirl on Jun 23, 2008 at 03:35 PM
To Jane, just so you know, you were created by God. It's people like you that are truly soooo very ignorant. FYI there are disabled people everywhere. There are also uneducated people everywhere. Oh and by the way uneducated doesn't mean ignorant or stupid. I mean hey, look at you for example. I travel to different states for my job, and all you yankees are the same. Rude, crude, cold and equally as ignorant as what you described us "hillbilly's" to be. You must truly be unhappy with yourself. Ya' know what they say, "misery loves company". Last but not least, maybe in the end God will take you out of everything. Like oh i don't know, your eternal home with him. I sure hope so. MMMOOOVVVEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do us a favor and move from this area. You should be fined for littering for just standing on your property. Yankee trash!!!!!

Why are so many people attacking Jane? Most of the former WV residents I know feel the same way. WV is a nice place to visit, but I'd never want to live there--family and God, my foot! And besides, Jane's not the one who politicized this story. That happened on the very first comment with Old Bigin's pearls of wisdom.

I'm still trying to figure how an intelligent person such as Jane obviously somehow mixes up a story about hail with a Barack Obama story. Is she insinuating that God sent hailstones on us because everyone in the state isn't embracing Obama or his politics? That makes us ignorant?

I was reading thru the comments and couldn't figure out why everyone was talking about "Jane"! OH!!! I guess I must be one of the ignorant people she is talking about!!! SO, I had to join in! Jane, Please leave our wonderful state if you are so unhappy with the people and your "living environment"! But I am sorry to say that it doesn't matter where you find your NEW HOME, There will always be someone there that is uneducated or do not believe in the same things as you do. WV is all about Family and God. Hopefully thats the way it will stay. I hate to kick someone out of our state but PLEASE GET OUT! Its people like you who make WV look bad.!

Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:59 AM
First of all JANE, were we not supposed to be commenting on the hail storm? I didn't see anything about Obama in this story. Apparently where you ARE FROM, they do not teach you how to read...or you were absent the day God passed our common sense. Apparently you are not equip to appreciate the beauty that is around you. Instead you chose to judge an entire state by the actions of a few. Go white water rafting, rock climbing, or camping...watch a sun set from Seneca Rock and tell me you still harbor bad feelings for our state. If so, the astronomical gas taxes we pay for our fabulous pot hole free interstates can take you back to where you came from. Look at it as a gift from the Medicaid sucking disabled, to rid our state of rubbish! :)

Posted by: Okay on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:51 AM
How did this story start with the candidates when it is about a freaky snow/ice storm?? I am so confused.Lets stick with the story!

Posted by: Victoria on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:51 AM
Jane, I'm so glad for your sake that our God is a forgiving God because if I were you I'd be down on my knees begging him for forgiveness for your judging attitude. "Thou shall not judge" have you ever heard that one? I'm glad that I'm from a state that still holds the lord Jesus Christ at the highest utmost position, where he belongs. If it wasn't for him "little lady" you'd be nowhere not even in good ole WV. We don't need folks around here like you, you are why we are seen as a disgrace (even to Dick Cheney). Every state has their problems so why don't you find one that better suits your little *ss. I work everyday and go to school to better myself and my family but I still find it hard to survive but I wouldn't leave this wonderful place that GOD gave to me as my home. By the way, I get food stamps too, how do you like that? I'm an educated mother of 3 that works forty hours or more a week plus goes college. What is it you do Miss Better than Thou?

Posted by: Buckeye on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:49 AM
May God Bless you Jane You are going to need it once West Virginia is done with you. All I can say is don't come to Ohio.

Posted by: Proud Hillbilly on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:46 AM
Jane - with that kind of attitude you ought to move up here to Columbus, OH. You would fit in perfectly! As for me, COUNTRY ROADS TAKE ME HOME TO THE PLACE I BELONG WEST VIRGINIA!

Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:35 AM
Jane is funny. She continues to live here and call WV a dump, yet she STILL lives here. Who is the ignorant one? The people that live here because they like it or the person that hates it but won't move? And read a newspaper sometime, dummy. Taking God out of schools and such was not just a West Virginia thing. It was a nationwide thing. You really are a few clowns short of the circus.

Posted by: Sick of ignorance on Jun 23, 2008 at 11:32 AM
jane I have noticed that the people who say WV is a dump hasnt been given the great opportunity to venture out and explore this great state, And i;ve also noticed that the people who know so much about dumps and disability are the people who either live in a dump or draw the disability. Maybe you should get off your free check and move out of your dump to view some other places around this great state. And I often wonder why do people talk about the places they live when they are given the chance to move freely. Was West Virginia the only place that was stupid enough to hire you for employment ,,,If so let me apologize,, you were right ,,we are an ignorant bunch of uneducated people to let such an ingrate like yourself move here.

Posted by: Proud of WV on Jun 23, 2008 at 10:47 AM
Jane, If you do not like it here then LEAVE!!!! No One asked you to come anyway. WV is a very pretty state. Not all people are like you discribed and I do believe that every state has some like that weather you like it or not. I am very proud to live in this state and so should everyone else who lives here. If you do not like it.... LEAVE!!!! Also a lot of famous people came from WV thank you very much and a few has big farms here so they can come and visit and have fun because they like it here so much.

jane, u should feel bad making such a rude comment about this state, i have lived in many different states and this state i feel like im home, its not the state thats a dump its some of the people and how they chose to live, what do you think about that?

Posted by: Diana on Jun 23, 2008 at 09:54 AM
Jane, If you don't like our "DUMP" as you call it move the @#*%! OUT! We consider West Virginia "Almost Heaven" and for your information this "NATION" was founded as "One Nation Under GOD" so why wouldn't we refer to GOD"? If anyone one sounds ignorant here it's the person who doesn't have sense enough to MOVE from this "DUMP" and allow the people who aren't on "Disability or Medicaid" to try and do something to help where we can. If you have to live here then by all means get off your "BUTT" and try to help achieve something in this "DUMP" to make it a better place for you to live! I'll pray for you because only "GOD" can help you!

I have been gone from WV for the last 3 years and I miss Huntington and WV very much. I thought I would never get the chance to move back there but it looks like I will before this year is over. If you are so upset with WV, then you should move to where you are more comfortable. Believe me, there are "ignorant people" wherever you go, and not just in WV.

Posted by: Tracy on Jun 23, 2008 at 09:35 AM
Jane, I just wanted you to know I have lived in WV all of my life. I am well educated and work for every dollar I have. My husband nor my children rely on public assistance for any reason and I assure you by no means are we ignorant. However, although I do not support Obama, I have never heard him curse God. On the other hand he may as well have he supported a man who did until that man insulted him, not God. If you don't like WV get out, unless your to ignorant to remember the direction in which you traveled here!

WOW Jane, I am so flattered that you think so highly of us "ignorant people" here in West Virginia. I was born and raised here in West Virginia, and I am proud to say that I am very well educated, thanks to the WV school system. I am also 26 with a bachelors degree, full time job, no children, not on welfare, or drawing disability or medicaid. Perhaps you shouldn't judge an entire state by the handful of people you have met while living here. I am very proud to be a West Virginian.......if you are not proud to live here, feel free to leave the way you came in!

Posted by: SA Res on Jun 23, 2008 at 09:03 AM

Posted by: Proud West Virginian on Jun 23, 2008 at 09:01 AM
Jane, why do you stay here, then???? The last thing we need to do is take God out of things-----think it is bad now?? just wait until He is no longer welcome here! The hail storm will seem like nothing then.......and, dear, I have a Masters degree in Counseling, so........

What does a storm have to do with Obama? Maybe the floods in the Midwest and the severe drought in the south last year are Bush's hypocrisy. Some people use any excuse to spew their political nonsense. Jane I've lived here 17 years now, and not everyone is like that.

Posted by: Madmax on Jun 23, 2008 at 08:12 AM
So why do you live in this dump, Jane. You must be pretty inteligent, Jane, to base your opinions of the people from an entire state, on one comment made anonomously on a web page. Maybe you should make God a part of your life and lose the bitterness!!

Take God out of everything???? What kind of statement is that? Taking God out of everything is the problem and I fail to see how that is relevant to this story.

I will gladly make some time in my busy day of cashing some disability checks, praying to God, finishing last in something, and just being generally ignorant, to take you back to wherever you came from.

For Jane: speaking of ignorant...Why are you still in West Virginia if you think it is a dump??? I imagine that you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth...I feel sorry for you because you are the ignorant one..not because you live now in WV....

Posted by: Anon on Jun 23, 2008 at 05:36 AM
To Jane sorry that you feel that way about W.Va. But for your knowledge not everyone that resides here is ignorant. And if you hate it here in this state that bad the same way you entered you can leave. And for you to have moved into this state and now you are having a pity party for yourself and putting this state down sounds like you are the ignorant one.

Well jane its IGNORANT people like YOU that put a bad name on wv folks and if it wasent for welfare and gov, checks, and food stamps then people in wv could not servive becouse our state gov gives all of our work to the out of state contractors if the work was done by wv people thay would only want to pay them less then half of minimum wage, and we can not take care of our familys on that.but thay will pay the out of state contractors enough to put half of ohios kids through collage.and its wrong the way thay want to do thier own people.thats why this time around we are going to vote all the users out of wv.and people like YOU that dont like the folks in wv need to pack up and GET OUT!!!have a nice life.

To Jane, you seem to have some difficulty with stereotyping everyone from the state. Talk about being ignorant. You need to think about what you are saying before speaking. I don't know if it was a job, family or whatever that brought you to WV, but I guarantee it won't hurt anyone's feelings if you leave. Take your pompous attitude and go where ever else you choose to. Just because someone speaks to their own beliefs, however misguided they might be, gives you no right to insult the entire state. You are definitely not helping Obama's cause by spewing forth such idiotic insults. Good riddance. I'm not even from the state originally myself, but your stupidity truly astounds me. Why are you even on a weather story blogging about this. You are not the educated, class act that you believe yourself to be. Keeping up with the religious aspect you felt necessary to interject here, "Don't let the door hit you, where the good Lord split you"! Go earn your money elsewhere.

This is for Jane. If this state is so terrible and such a dump then why did you move here? Ignorence is everywhere. I will say the only time we are recognized nationally is for someone having sex with a sheep at a manger display at Christmas or something equally as horrible. I just hate when someone not from here who reads the hype and buys into it complains about WV. I bet your from Ohio or Michigan. WV is awesome, you should go back where you came from.

To Jane .I have lived in WV all my life .I am sorry you have such a negative view of our beautiful state. Look past the "ignorant" people you have met and hopefully find comfort that there are WV's that are looking towards HOPE in Obama. To Old Bigin..I correct you in what you wrote.. the last one DID some damage not done some damage and I think it did not destroy everyone's gardens..my tomato plants are hearty..and this may be a sign from above that change is on the way..look out Old Bigin..your name sounds like Osama Bin Laden to me.

I feel the problems we are facing here in my dear home state as well as the nation is due to ppl like Jane wanting to dismiss God from "everything". I am sorry that you have experienced the ignorance of some, but to label a whole state as such, I think shows your ignorance. If you are having such great embarrassment from people by living here, maybe you might consider moving to a more "liberal, intelligent" state, like CA for example. I think it sounds like you would fit right in :) I can't say whether Obama made any cursing remarks from the pulpit or not, but I do believe that we need to get back to what this country was founded on, a belief in living moral, modest, and simple lives. Caring for one another and not just ourselves. Old Bigin I hate to hear about the damage to your garden. I am sure that this weather is playing havoc on a lot of gardeners and farmers this year, nationwide. We will all feel the effect, here in WV and abroad.

Jane, I don't know why that response is posted on this page, but I feel sad and sorry for you too. You sound empty and confused! Yes, there is a real problem in WV, because taxes are incredibly too high in every facet, and jobs are not being founded. CEO's are making millions of money, and employees are making as close to minimum wage as possible. I have worked for 3 years in the same position, and have yet to make $7 an hour! The state of WV, like other states, unfortunately had to depend on the federal government to raise the minimum wage up so we can just pay rent and insurance. Forget much about having anything else, or cable. The people of WV need to start talking to the government and say enough is enough! Federal tax, state tax, property tax,an occupational fee and tax,Federal telephone tax,a state $3 911 tax, food and sales tax. Wow, and this country was founded to fight taxation from the King of England. I guess we will have to find another country to go to!

Jane - this story is about hail - and apparently you need to be saying some 'hail mary's'. There are many very kind, compassionate, and extremely hard-working people here in this state. To lump everyone together over a few comments and make such outrageous statements shows your ignorance not ours. Since you don't like us so much and are not willing to be open-minded to people who aren't nearly as stuck-up as yourself then BY GOD - PLEASE MOVE TO ANOTHER STATE! Let us help you pack, see the door, and don't let it hit you on the way out. Or GET OVER YOURSELF AND FIND AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. Life is what you make of it and your attitude.. anyway why do I even waste my time.. you don't even pay attention to the stories you lamely comment on, why would I think you would be a human being to anyone else around you. Good luck in life - and whenever you need something it will be one of us ignorant people who will still be willing to help. Actions speak louder than statistics! Please MOVE!!

Jane, What gives you the RIGHT to be the judge, jury and executioner of WV?? The people of this state are NOT ignorant and nor do they deserve to be treated as such, Its people like YOU that make West Virginian's feel as tho they need to defend themselves against other's and that too in it's self isn't right, they shouldn't have to do that for you or anyone. And if you so unhappy with this state then why the hell are you still here?? And, if people are feeling sorry for you it may not be because you live in WV but because of who you are!! Did you stop to concider that? My husband is trying to get his disability because of several heart attacks that he has had, does that make him BAD because he wants whats HIS, what and others in this great country have worked hard for?? And what does someone being on medicaid or disability have to do with God? Like I've always been told.. If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all!!!!!!

So dont stop til ya get to the state line to fill up with gas..Obama's ignorant hate filled wanna be pastor is the one who cussed in the pulpit...If you want to meet some really ignorant people follow Obama...he can lead ya right to em.. Jane maybe you should move to some other state. I am sure any state would love to have such an intelligent person as yourself. I don't know how the state survived before you moved here. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks. If you only learn one thing about West Virginia, remember they stick up for each other.

To:Jane I am not ignorant. On the contrary, I am very bright and I've lived in West Virginia all my life, Except for the three years I lived in Florida. That's where I found the ignorant people.Couldn't wait to get back home where God is exalted and the people are respectful and hard working.Ever wonder why WV people are on disability? It's because they worked for a living and broke their backs doing it. The reason people feel sorry for you is not because you live in this so called "dump". It's because you are the one that's ignorant and you don't have enough sense to realize it.If you were smart, you'd MOVE.

Posted by: For Jane on Jun 22, 2008 at 09:51 PM
Take a minute to look around you.. Look in the mirror.. God created you, just as he created WV.. And the rest of the world. Maybe when you all can take god out of everything, not all be on disability or medicaid, some things can get accomplished here. People feel sorry for me when I say I live in this dump.

The people who work there must be the most incompetent baffoons imaginable because it seems that they can never get anything right. It is bad enough that you have to wait in line for hours with all the other people who were unfortunate enough to lose their jobs due to the bad economy but when you finally get to see someone, they always manage to completely mess things up. As if to add insult to injury, they also seem to take great pleasure in denying someone because of their mistake which forces you to appeal their "decision" and go through it all over again. These people are far worse than your typical state employee, they are morons.

She had a notebook with "local parents" names that she had talked with, but I didn't recognize any of the names. She asked about the neighborhood and if any other kids lived there. I didn't disclose any info except that lots of kids live in the area. Didn't let her in the house. Just suspicious because of the holiday and local home robberies. • Posted By: bonnOne more thing and I really will stop. Why does the weather cycle? I do not know everything-no one does. But everything has its purpose. Sometimes, more cold is called for. If we don't have hard winters snakes and mosquitoes thrive, for one. Mosquitoes are a large part of fish diet. And snakes keep rodents in check. But too much cold hurts other things that call for warmer temps. Quail is one thing that comes to mind that suffer in the frigid temps. We just don't understand all of the workings of these things. But it is all to keep a balance-many times in things we ourselves have killed off, such as bear and wolves. Even if we don't like some species, they all serve a purpose and nature helps keep that balance. Our world really was wonderfully made. With all the changes in temperature, we still have seasons. You can know it will be cold in winter and hot in summer. The excesses serve a purpose we sometimes can not see. Strive to learn of all of her wonders, not follow blindly.

We each were given a mind to think with. Question everything before taking it as it appears. And be sure and thank a veteran for the freedom we celebrate this weekend. Too many have died to protect it to just give it up willingly. And whether or not you are religious, lets try to love one another. Love can fix so many things! Try to keep our world clean, But that doesn't have to bankrupt us. We can all do our part in whatever ways we can. The old saying "Give a hoot, don't pollute" should not have gone out of style. This means that homeowners, for example, could be required to retrofit their homes to meet federal “green” guidelines in order to sell their homes, if the cap-and-trade bill becomes law. The bill, which now goes to the Senate, directs the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to develop and implement a national policy for residential and commercial buildings. • Posted By: HtiekWhat always amazes me about people in WV is their slavish devotion to coal mining even though it is killing the planet, costs more jobs than it creates, poisons the water, destroys the mountains, scars the land, kills the snail darter, and other horrible things. Things are all so backwards in this country why dont we switch over to something that lasts and is free like the sun and wind? Even if the president said that stuff and I doubt he did and even if he did you are misquoting him or taking him out of context he is right if there is one sure way to get people to stop turning their air conditioners down to 76 it is to raise the price, just like gasoline. People we can learn to ride bikes and walk again, just like they did in the old days, that will help give us exercise and decrease the obesity rate in WV. Food is another area, the slop that people eat like MacDonalds, trans fats, regular soft drinks, anybody with half a brain knows the intelligent thing to do is tax regular soda pop.

Shouldn't I be turning on the air conditioner instead? It's the 2nd of July. Not saying it's global warming but it doesn't seem right. Haven't heard of any heat warning anywhere is the US so far this summer. Great for us but doesn't feel right.
  • Posted By: KrisHi Bonn, it is true that these cycles do occur over time. Scientists have taken core samples from the earth and the ice to show these cycles. However, none of the samples show such a dramatic change in such a short period of time. I am a smoker and I will admit that my second hand smoke can and probably will effect the lungs of a non-smoker. The tons of carbon monoxide and other pollutants that we release into our atmosphere HAS TO have an effect on our atmosphere. True story: there was a scientist that day after day after day couldn't figure out why the sky was so blue and clear. Then it struck him, there hadn't been ANY planes in the air for three days. That was 911. What you put out, is what you get back. If you put love out, you will get love back. If you put out negativity, you will get negativity back. For every action, there is a reaction whether it's good or bad. It's in our hands to do our best not to cause an adverse impact to our planet. Peace to ALL!
  • Posted By: Big EarlHello again good working coal mining people of WV this is the coal miners friend Big Earl with news of yet another hippie plot to stick there big noses further into our business now some of these people in Congress has throwed in with the tree huggers they are trying to make it so you cannot sell your house without some nut from the hippie EPA coming in and inspecting it to make sure you are green enough to suit there tastes. This so called cap and trade bill that these busy body do gooders are pushing on us will destroy our jobs and run up the electric bills so that everybody will have to live like the Waltons with 27 people under one roof just to keep warm. Now the average hippie longhair don’t care noway because they would have us all living in mud huts riding mules wearing sandals and weaving baskets to load down with califlowers and arougalas tofu and alfalfa to take up on some worthless mountaintop as an offering to there windmill god instead of having nice homes, cars, a job and cool air in the summer and heat in the winter ALL THANKS TO THE COAL MINER. Anything to bother people attracts these hippies like flies to a cowpie.

  • Posted By: AmyHey Keith, I must have missed that interview because I was busy clinging to my guns and religion. No, really, I did see it. It's kind of strange how people become so shocked when this stuff is introduced in the House of Reps. Obama outlined every plan he intended to get pushed through and a lot of people just didn't listen. Next time I hope people vote for the best candidate not the best slogan. Yes we can....bankrupt the nation!

THE PEOPLE HAVE NEVER VOTED ON IT, BUT THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOU BELIEVE THAT IT WILL SAVE LIVES. TELL THEM TO GIVE YOU THE FIGURES ON ACCIDENTAL OPERATIONS.And if that doesn't satisfy you then why are we allowing our young brave soldiers to be killed, and for whom? WHY AREN'T THESE NEWSPAPERS BRINGING THIS INFORMATION TO THE PEOPLE? Because the nations 96% are owned and controled by the WEALTHIEST.
  • Posted By: bonnI was trying to make a point. Perhaps not in the best way. I get so discouraged seeing what is happening around us. One group of scientists call for us to spread soot on all the snow up north to absorb heat to counter the coming ice age. Another (more popular) group calls for painting our roofs white to reflect the heat that is melting our ice caps. Which group is right? Neither. Our earth is doing exactly as it has been doing all along. Cycling naturally. Did it plan it all on its own? Hardly. But no one wants to hear that. It reminds me of "chicken little" yelling "the sky is falling". Only this is not so funny-this is control. And what is even sadder is-people seem to WANT to be controlled. This earth will continue as always until one preplanned day it all comes to a screeching halt. Then a new earth will be created. I will not be caught off guard. I read The Book. I know where I will be. Do you? And do you really enjoy giving those schemers your money that much? I hope one day...
  • Posted By: KeithA few questions for the Yell audience: Does anyone remember when Obama gave that interview in SanFran Cisco and said that he would not prevent the construction of a coal fired plant, but his policies would bankrupt anybody that tried to build one? That policy was cap and trade. I heard O say that energy prices, under his administration, would "necessairly skyrocket." Is this the hope and change you guys voted for? How will you afford your electric and gas service under this man who cares so much for the poor? Obama said once that he was not bothered that the price of gas had risen so high, just that it happened so fast. How does everyone feel about the gas price? Obama raked John Pablo McCain over the coals for suggesting health care benefits be taxed as income, now he is going to do the same thing to pay for "free" care to illegal aliens, deadbeats, etc...but union workers will be exempt from this tax. How does that make you feel if you work for a living and are not in a union? H&C

The stimulus package would prevent it from going above 8%, remember? How is Iran not our business but Honduras is? The people of Honduras have a Constitution very similar to ours and we should support the people not an extremist who is trying to take over their country. The 22nd Amendment does a great service for our nation. IF it would be reversed that would be O.K too. At the rate Obama is going W. could beat him in 2012. At least I would sleep better at night.
  • Posted By: Just MeWow Jane Doe, give it a rest. I really don't think God would be please with this going on and on and on...healthy banter is fine, but this is not healthy banter. Christians absolutely can and do get angry, it's what they do with that anger that counts. It doesn't matter where, when, or even IF you go to church...what matters is that you have accepted Christ into your heart and asked for forgiveness of your sins. God didn't save us to judge others, he saved us to lead others to him. I've said many times...what if the person you just yelled at, told off, or whatever showed up at your church on Sunday? Would you be proud of your behavior?
  • Posted By: SophieRoane County is a beautiful place. The country roads snake along past fields, farms and old homes we wish could talk. Looneyville is indeed named after the Looney family, so is Gandeeville. My father was from Roane Co. & graduated from Walton High School in the 40's. He told me tales of his school days, friends, boyish pranks, old cars and the fun they had at the 4-H camp. Spencer was a big place to them. Roane Co. gave us many war veterans and kept distant family & friends together with the annual "Roane County Reunion". I don't even know if they still have it, but we used to go. I remember seeing Sen. Robert Byrd play his fiddle there. The Black Walnut Festival in October(?) is a good time to visit Spencer. They usually have a parade, arts & crafts and a museum. You can enjoy a slice of Americana, along with a slice of homemade pie.

  • Posted By: RoaneCo.Yes Craveontruth, there is a place named Looneyville.(no Jane Doe that isn't where I live) It is on Rt.36, nothing there but the Looneyville Post Office, and I am not joking. There is also a Lefthand Post Office on Rt.36, always wondered why there wasn't a Righthand also. Our County seat is located in Spencer, (middle of nowhere) which for years was only known for its State Mental Institution. (no Jane Doe this isn't my Alma mater) It was closed years ago and now a Wal-Mart is on that location. I guess the only other thing to speak of would be the Black Walnut Festival which is held in Spencer every October.
  • Posted By: bonn, the simpletonDon't we have a smart earth? She formed herself from a dust cloud, they say and planted herself just the right distance from the sun to support the life she would create. She also filled her insides with molten heat to maintain the right temps and if that builds too much she decides to blow some out holes (volcanoes) to keep from exploding. She makes her own rain, knowing whether she needs a gentle soaking rain for her plants, or a gully washer to cleanse the filth. It pours down the mountains, into the rivers and out into the ocean which she just happened to fill with salt (her natural sanitizer). And she knows if she doesn't have ice she will over heat, but too much and she will freeze, killing her life she so carefully made. So she melts some, then as it heats up, she freezes more. All just coincidental happenings? She is brilliant! But not so smart as the humans who are making a fortune controlling the other dumb humans by convincing them THEY are causing her to do these things!!!

  • Posted By: HteikWell it is nice to see that the war in Iraq is ending under President Obama. Who would have thought, it seems the world is backwards right now, huh? Obama gets elected, the world understands our good will, and all is well. Just like history, Republicans start wars, Democrats finish them. Hate to say we told you so but we told you so, I just get fuzzy inside thinking about all the people that love us now that hated us because of that old Bush. Another thing too, leave this Iran thing alone, that is none of our business. I dont recall anybody from Iran coming over here to help us in 1776 so why should we stick our nose in their business? When you get a strong leader like in Honduras, a good strong leader with a military background, everybody goes nuts because the guy takes things over well I support him and Obama. In fact, some people are so needed we better start now to get rid of the 22nd Amendment, it was only put in by jealous radical extremist crazy Republicans to hurt FDR.

Oh and Kris your right our God won't kill a 1 yr old or a 100 yr old just do to it. He would do it for his glory and maybe take them from being around a half heartened sadistic person that would do this to a child. I also thank you Bonn for being open minded and seeing the point I was trying make. And for Anonymous on Jul 1, 2009 at 03:11 PM, no Craveontruth and I are not the same person. We do agree on some issues, and disagree on others. And when we do disagree (speaking for myself of course) we do it without anger. Also, for Bob... sorry, it isn't working. Roane Co/Jane -It appears Roane has been very hurt in their lifetime by family conflict involving belief. Many people get hurt because of superstition & misinterpretation and overzealousness. It has been this way since time began. I hope Roane can someday get past the hurt & retoric to work out his/her own salvation. Simple belief in Jesus Christ is where it starts, the rest as I put it, is just "gravy". Jane: I'm sorry your child was hurt. This indeed must be reported. I got hurt @ CP one time too on "The Whip". It beat me so hard against the side I had a major bruise on my hip. I strained my arms trying to keep from slamming into the side. A fun thing was not so fun. No rides for me, anymore. Not there.

Well people I am here to tell you that this bunch at the so called CSPI and no you hippies I don’t mean the TV show calling us fat should look in the mirror they look like something off night of the living dead pasty faced scarecrows and beanpoles and what is so great about that. WV has some of the best staple foods anywhere in the world I have eaten paotatoes beans meat flour and corn meal all my life cooked in lard and I am not one bit worse off for it and can mine coal with anybody. People all the good foods we eat are natural growed in the garden or on the farm so it should even make a tofu eating hippie type happy. I am more bothered that two states beat us out in the race for the top so I tip my hat to the people of the great states of Alabama home of the best country music band ever and Mississippi but people of WV get busy we have to reclaim our title to best fed in the USA I recommend the Kentucky Fried Chicken with gravy and biscuits as a good place to start our comeback.
  • Posted By: RoaneCo.Actually Jane Doe, growing up I did attend church and read the bible. Being subjected to religion for many years I would not consider myself "confused" or uneducated. If one looks at organized religion with an open mind it isn't hard to see who is confused. For example, you have one bible yet there are numerous religious groups ( methodists, baptists etc...) that believe their interpretation is the only correct interpretation. This is understandable because the bible itself is very contradictive. In my opinion the the bible and organized religion is nothing more than a tool created to control the masses. Yet this tool has pitted man against man, brother against brother, state against state and country against country, not to mention the wars, death and destruction it has caused. I have witnessed in my lifetime many family fueds, broken marriages and busted churches at the hands of organized religion. I have heard the words of hate spoken by christians. I am not confused.

  • Posted By: bonnTo Jane Doe: I am afraid RoaneCo's common sense is more attractive than your comments. Read your last post at 8:58 and see if it shows the Light you are suppose to give. We are suppose to control our anger. Yes, we are forgiven, but it is not a license to keep repeating our faults. It is mercy so we can improve. Viciousness does not become a child of God. RoaneCo., may God forgive us for driving you and others away from Him with our failure to shine the Light of Love. And Jane Doe, I am the one you called ignorant just because I was showing compassion (another expectation of a Christian). It is scary about your child. But that person was not attacking your child, nor joking about it, only disapproving of your outburst. Not very attractive in anyone, especially one called to set an example for others to follow. If you must get angry, use it to accomplish something good. Christians are hated enough WITHOUT cause. Love is the answer.

What I don't care for is someone like Jane Doe on here week after week preaching her little sermons all the while calling people ignorant and showing her hostility toward others. It has always amazed me how most christians will belittle someone else but the minute you catch them being unchristian like they always come up with the old "we christians ain't perfect". Well I know they are not, but by golly they are the first to judge everyone else. These hyporcitical self proclaimed christians are one of the reasons I turned away from organized religion years ago. I just don't agree with these people shoving religion on everyone else. I respect Jane Does right to religion and I would even fight for her to keep that right, but she, like so many others need to keep their religion in their church and their home.
  • Posted By: Big EarlWell hello again good working coal mining families in WV this is Big Earl and I for one am very disappointed that this cap and trade bill got passed into law the other day no thanks to our good representatives from WV. People all I can say is get a woodpile and a bunch of cow chips because your electric is going to get real expensive real quick. These hippies has run up to Washington DC and boo hooed to them tree huggers and longhairs in the EPA until they got even worse done to our jobs but then again what do you expect from a bunch that has a leaf from a dope plant on there sign like the EPA does if you don’t believe me look on this very website I seen a picture of it. Birds of a feather flock together that’s why the good working people were kept out and not allowed to talk at that hearing and the hippies let in. People these hippies has slandered our great state and coal miners first they bring in professor moonbeam from NASA to insult us then he tucks his tail and runs back to NASA and wont debate Mr. DB then they attack our state university mascot the WV mountaineer. Well people I Big Earl have a solution to this lets call WV the “Ivory Soap State,” make our mascot a bathtub that’s a sure fire way to get rid of these smelly hippies and longhairs and keep them out forever.
  • Posted By: MEWe christians are most always judged by our actions and that is to be expected since we are not perfect in any way. We all make mistakes every day,we get angry,we say things we shouldn't and act out our frustrations sometimes to those closest to us and our friends. We try to do better and ask forgiveness when we do stumble from our christian path. Actions speak louder than words at times, good or bad. Yes we adults act like children at times and children try to act like adults all too soon. We never know who we are influenceing with our actions and words so we need to always try to act,say and do what is right. As long as we are on this earth we will stumble but we should strive to be the best we can be and treat people with love and respect no matter how we are treated. I have turned the cheek many times and been slapped alot and will keep on doing it as long as I breath. My time will come soon enough to be judged as to the way I have lived and treated people.

And before one of you know it alls talks about Al Gore riding everywhere in a private plane and having such a huge house and running a company that profits from selling carbon credits, some people in life earn their special privileges simply by showing up and enlightening the rest of us, so there.

  • Posted By: RoaneCo.After you finish showing your true colors, go back and read my post again Jane Doe. Better yet let me cut and paste it for you. "I do hope your little girl is ok. I have children of my own, I know how precious they are." And just for the record, I would never "make fun" of a child, but don't think for one second that I won't point out an adult being hypocritical. Are you not the same Jane Doe that three weeks ago was preaching about God, then in the same breath calling someone "IGNORANT"? So let me say it one more time, I hope your little girl is ok. As for you, thank you for proving once again how kind, loving, patient and understanding some of you fine christians can be.
  • Posted By: KrisThis respectfully goes out to "food for thought" for what they said about fox news and global warming.FOX has great movies and tv shows but their view when it comes to the "news" is so far on the "right" way of thinking that it totally obscures reality in their opions of the subject at hand. They'll twist their views to make sure that it is opposite of "liberals" or people on the "left" and how they feel about the subject.Asf or global warming, we have actual time lapsed pictures of the polar caps melting at an alarming rate. You can actually see it happening. If things are cooling down, then why are the polar caps and icebergs melting at an alarming rate? The evidence is right in front of our faces. I sure do hope you're right because if I am, our planet is doomed. Sincerely, Kris

  • Posted By: KeithNever thought I'd sit around and miss Bush...well the wrecking ball has appointed a racist to the supreme court, one that is inept and incompetent too. Did you notice her latest ruling was overturned today? The economy is not getting better, those of you out of work have my sympathy because this clown is not doing anything to make it better. He never held a real job, never ran a business, just a rabble rouser and agitator. How do you feel about cap and trade energy tax? All over a phony problem that doesnt even exist; WV will wither away to nothing but hey we can all get jobs in the windmill factory, cant we? How do you feel about having your health benefits taxed to pay for Obamacare? How's the hope and change working out for everyone? What do you think card check is going to do the economy? Check out an article about Obama the African Colonialist on the American Thinker Website, dated June 25th. It explains him to a "T." Obama is a wrecking ball, and he's gonna roll over everyone.
  • Posted By: Big EarlWell hello again good working coal miners of WV this is Big Earl and people I have come to the conclusion that we need some friends in Washington DC that has got some clout. Some people up there has got big names but nobody apparently listens to, that is if they show up at all in court to help you out, those who are sick are excepted. Then there are some people in Charleston who should be in Washington who shall remain unnamed because nobody in Gov. Joes office asked me to say that. But remember who had that bunch from FEMA down here handing out checks before two weeks after the flood water hit and figure out who has clout. You people that went up for the hearing last week should be thanked but the good people never got to say a word but these hippies did, they are apparently now running around the creek with microscopes looking for fish that cant be seen with the eye, something called a microbe, now they are blaming the coal miner for killing off this worthless animal and I sincerely hope Captain D or old Long John will never put some slop like that on my plate when I want good seafood. If you dont see it it cant be of no good use anyway, sort of like a certain US senator with a big rich name who was nowhere to be seen last week.
  • Posted By: Jane DoeTo RoaneCo. How dare you critize my comment. This isn't just some fun arguement!! My child is hurt! Do you think that's funny? Do me a favor, Next time I write about my kids, Don't comment! I hope you don't have any kids because you don't see the harm and worry in my comment, You just want to fight and make fun of someone!! This is really serious!! I don't see the humor!!!
  • Posted By: Big EarlDid any of you people see those PETA nuts on the TV 3 news last night boo hooing about having to tie there dogs up hello again working people of WV this is Big Earl and I don’t know about you but I always thought it was rude and inconsiderate and just being a bad neighbor to let your dogs run wild all over the neighborhood digging up peoples backyards rooting around in garbage cans and doing there business all over the place. Have any of you people in Huntington ever lost a chicken to a wild dog. Even these back to nature types and hippies up here in Boone County tie up there dog to guard there dope patches but they don’t have no sense anyway if they aint going to Washington DC to try and rook us out of our jobs by carrying signs and yelling about some invisible fish that is no good to anybody they are screaming about the coal miner killing polar bears and other animals that don’t even live here. Apparently this bunch had the bright idea to go down to the park on Sunday down in Huntington when people was out with there families trying to walk around and enjoy things and they chained themselves to trees with real dog chains trying to get people to sign a protest petition to of all people a mayor named Wolf now I don’t know about you but that mayor better forget the beware of dog sign he needs to put a beware of the PETA nut sign up in that park.
  • Posted By: The Seeker@food for thought: It is indeed important to check facts, and it heartens me to see that you're of the type that actively seeks them (even thought I fall on the side of the debate that believes in climate change, as it has solid science behind it). However, I caution you on taking anything from FOX news at face value. This is an organization that in 2000 won a case in Florida appeals court in which the court ruled that FOX has no obligation to tell the truth to it's viewers, and can misinform the public under the first amendment. This is also an organization that has been proven to have an agenda, and frames every bit of it's coverage to favor one political party over the other. My advice is to seek out less obviously biased news sources, especially in cases such as global warming, which is an issue that transcends political parties and affects every being on the planet.
  • Posted By: HughHey WVa. Checkin out the YELL. Kind of quiet today. Enjoyed my visit there. Met John Henry at the Big Ben Tunnel, saw the big bridge. Stood at Hawk's Nest and viewed the scenery. If I wasn't so old and crippled, I'd bungee jump from the New River Gorge Bridge. Have folks who live in the Talcott area and some around Hinton. Well won't take much of your time today. Just wanted to check in.
  • Posted By: what is foor for thought?foor?? for thought, you do know Bush made those he commissioned to study it alter their reports when he found out it supported global warming, don't you? Anyone who just sees pictures of the ice caps 30 years ago and now would have to be mentally handicapped not to know there's global warming, the only thing that's possible to debate is the cause of it. Wonder why Fox didn't mention the Bush fiasco? Well I don't really wonder.
  • Posted By: more p.c at wsazgays in usa sounds like it was written by a gay person,so it was printed.it was,nt written by a gay person.it was a second thought, after i commented on other sins, such as adultry, but plainly written by a heterosexual person.it was not printed because im straight and not gay.so goes our country and freedom.
  • Posted By: Lou AnnIve had a similar bad experience at camden park several years ago. Havent went back since. The pricing is just another deterrent to doing business locally. I love this area but am very discouraged by the lack of pride in our appearance in several of our towns, the prices of doing business, the attitude towards the customer , the lack of merchandise. I could go on. We definately are not tourist friendly in the great ohio valley area.
  • Posted By: foor for thoughtLooks like my comment on June 24th may be right. I have done some reading about this Global warming fad the government is putting on. I was sitting in a local car dealership and FOX news was reporting on the government sitting or "burying" studies by two of the highest ranking EPA officials contradicting this myth. Some of the comments from their studies proves the Global temperature if anything has decreased. Although, you should be skeptical about anything the media reports especially when it involves the government these are facts that have been recorded over time. I ask how come when these bozos as Dr. Hansen whom is from NASA(which has done innumerable amounts of damage to our air with their testing) never mention facts as these when trying to prove things they are claiming is a fact. People we in America have became lazy in seeking the truth, I am not disputing anything these scientists and the government tells us, but as we learned in elementary school check facts of both sides.
  • Posted By: gays in u.s.a.another reflection on gays.if you think god doesn,t care about you because you,re gay ,he must love you more than you can comprehend,if not you could have been born ina muslim country.islam has no homosexuals ,they are not rehabilitate, just beheaded.as a loving and compassionate god says"GO AND SIN NO MORE".that doesnt mean just you it means all of us.yes god allows you to choose,he must really care.
  • Posted By: City of MiltonI'm glad that the City of Milton has so much money to spend and that they spend it wisely. Every time I drive through town on a nice day it never fails that someone is washing their personal vehicle at the VFD. Good to see that they budget personal car washes into the city budget. I think I'll stop in there today and see if I can wash my car as well...should be a nice day!
  • Posted By: ValorieAbout four weeks ago, I sent a letter to Camden Park with a friendly suggestion to open the park to the casual visitor again. As of today, I still haven't had a response from them. There used to be a small fee for admission to anyone who just wanted to visit. Once inside the park, a visitor could buy a corn dog or pay to play a few games or ride a few rides. Now people have to pay a full admission price for all day rides, even when they don't plan to stay all day. A lot of people are grandparents who just want to watch their grandchildren ride for an hour or two. Some are young parents with small children who tire easily. As empty nesters, my husband and I would like to drop by to get a bite to eat, play some games or just walk around. Everyone I have spoken to said they would visit Camden Park a whole lot more if they didn't have to pay the full admission price. I challenge everyone to contact Camden Park and ask them to give the people a choice!
  • Posted By: to gay questiongod is not a cruel and unfair god.we all have our faults.is homosuxality a bigger sin than adultry, pornography, lying, stealing, and the list goes on.the clue to these behaviors is wanting to make our lives better.we cant blame anyone but ourselves for what we do.if anyone doesnt change its what they want to do.but as long as it doesnt affect me thats between you and god.but it is wrong, just as cheating on your spouse is sin.would we tell the adulterer that its not sin and not to try being a better person,i think not.celibacy would be better than the same old behavior.these have been struggle since creation.
  • Posted By: RoaneCo.Losing your religion Jane Doe? What happened to "turn the other cheek"? I do hope your little girl is ok. I have children of my own, I know how precious they are. But next time you read of someone else being "furious" or commenting on their personal issues, maybe you should keep your bible quotes to yourself.
  • Posted By: Jane DoeI recently went with my church and my family to Camden Park this past weekend. Me and my 6 year old daughter rode the Spider, We thought it was going to be lots of fun, we were wrong! It was a nightmare! It went on for 10 minutes and was going way too fast! My daughter was terrified and was screaming! I was furious when the man that helped us off asked if she was okay and I said what do you think and he laughed!! I have rode this ride for many years and loved it, But this time I could tell it was different! But then it gets worse, A friend of mine that stayed at the park longer than us informed me that after we left, The spider closed down and said they had crossed wires and the ride was malfunctioning!!! My daughter can't hardly walk today and has a four inch bruise down her back! I'm taking her to the doctor in the morning. If there is something seriously wrong, I will be speaking to the owner and this situation will be takin care of!!!!!
