222 Grams of Cocaine Found in Traffic Stop

LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A traffic stop early Friday morning ended with the arrests of three people, including one person who faces multiple drug-related felony charges.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers pulled over a car in Lucasville about 2 a.m. for a traffic violation and noticed what they describe as criminal indicators. Ohio Highway Patrol says a subsequent search revealed that one of the passengers, 33-year-old Brandy Staten, of Columbus, had 222 grams of cocaine in her possession. She was arrested on charges of cocaine possession and trafficking.

Troopers also arrested two other people who were inside of the car, Alexis Ward, 37, of Milton, W.Va., and Shawn Lamarr, 36, of Columbus, Ohio. All three are being held at the Scioto County Jail.
