CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Democrat Barack Obama has attracted
more than double the campaign cash as Republican John McCain among
West Virginians, as the two presumptive presidential nominees gear
up their general election fight.

But the latest Federal Election Commission filings also show
that Hillary Clinton outspent Obama 3-to-1 in the state last month
to run up the score in its May 13 primary.

And Clinton's drubbing of Obama in that primary - she got 67
percent of the vote before conceding the national race earlier this
month - puts Obama's in-state money lead in context.

Exit polling conducted for The Associated Press during the
Democratic primary indicated that little more than a third of
Clinton's supporters would back Obama, who received about 26
percent of the vote, were he the nominee.
