HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- While the rain may dampen the Fourth of July parades and fireworks, it won't get rid of your hunger.
If you're planning on firing up the grill this holiday weekend, there are new warnings you should consider and it's got nothing to do with tomatoes.
Kroger has announced a major recall of beef products, because one if its suppliers has been linked to 41 cases of e-coli poisoning in Ohio and Michigan.
Nineteen people have been hospitalized, and one person has even been diagnosed with kidney failure.
Kroger says they are asking folks to check their refrigerators and freezers for the products coming from Nebraska Beef Limited. They are in Styrofoam tray packages and wrapped in clear cellophane.
If you shop at an Ohio Kroger, the dates you should check for are May 21 through July 3.
For West Virginia Kroger stores, look for dates of May 19 through June 6.
Kroger is also recalling packages of Private Selection Natural Ground Beef sold in 16 ounce packages with dates between July 11 and July 21.
This product was sold in all Kroger stores.
Kroger company leaders say this is a voluntary recall, and is being done as a precaution.
If you have any questions about something you may have in your home, you can take it back to the store where you bought it.

I have to agree with Kathy S. Are we slowing being killed by our food, water & clean air? Guess we all need to go back to raising what we eat, like our forefathers did. By the time we buy gas, food 7 the bare necessaties,,,,our take home pay, won't hardly take us home. considering everything that is happening,, keep your eyes on the Eastern skies,,,Jesus is coming soon!
Just drink whiskey with it. That'll kill it. Bottoms up.
Warning! Rotting flesh might have bacteria and viruses in it!
