HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ)--Marshall Community and Technical College is getting a $68,000 grant to fund a new Computer Animation and Game Developer program.
The grant is made possible by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
“The two-year program is a great opportunity for students interested in the field of design and computer programming. said Sandra Walker, Dean of Business and Information Technology.
According to a release, the Animation and Gaming curriculum is designed to provide the necessary training to create interactive computer games.
Courses will include the principles of Design Software, Programming Languages, Modeling and Animation Skills, and Web Graphic Design.
MCTC currently offers Program Developer and Web Developer programs
